🩺 CHECK ON YOUR NURSE FRIENDS.

Because sometimes “I’m fine” really means:

“I’m exhausted.”

“I’m overwhelmed.”

“I don’t feel like my assignment is safe.”

“I spent my entire shift taking care of everyone else and barely had time to breathe.”

Nurses are being asked to do more with less—more patients, higher acuity, fewer resources, more responsibilities, and less time.

And somehow, we’re still expected to keep everything running.

So check on your nurse friends.

Ask them how their shift really was.

Listen without judgment.

Because behind every nurse who says, “I’m fine,” there might be a story they haven’t felt safe enough to tell.
