Peyton Higginson is a P4 talent that has proven himself on both sides of the ball. This ability has lead him to a position where he has college programs such as Michigan flying in to see him. Higginson offers a combination of length, speed and ball skill that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the state.

As mentioned, Peyton contributes heavily on both sides of the ball. His primary position, in regard to recruiting, is safety but he is one of the best receivers you will see in Utah. After evaluating him at an offensive emphasized Salem Hills practice, I was impressed with his speed, separation and hands. He was always open, made difficult catches look routine, and caught everything thrown his way.

This past season, Peyton was a first team ALL- STATE selection and put up great numbers, here is what he had on the stat sheet:

DEFENSE:

Tackles: 81

INT: 3

OFFENSE

Catches: 40

Yards: 574

TD: 7

I look forward to seeing what he can accomplish in his senior campaign. This is one of the most talented players in the state and could have a special year if he and his team reach their potential. Keep your eye on #4.
