In a world where so many are carrying heavy hearts, every little act of support matters. Together, weโ€™ve raised $6,010 through ShikShook parties ๐Ÿ™ Thank you for helping us make it happen and support those in need. Know someone who could use the support? DM us by @shikshook.to
It all started with a Palestinian, a Lebanese and a Jordanian coming together to create a safe space where individuals from the Arab/SWANA LGBTQ+ community could freely express themselves through dance without fear of judgement. For many of us in the LGBTQ+ community living in the West, our music, dances, and community hold immense significance. ShikShook provides a rare opportunity to revel in nostalgic Arabic tunes, welcoming everyone to dress as they please and celebrate their authentic selves. Moreover, this platform serves to empower queer artists from diverse backgrounds, offering them a stage to showcase their talents. We also aim to support our communities. A portion of ShikShook profits will be donated to worthy causes considered necessary and urgent at the time. Unlike any other party experience, ShikShook promises an evening filled with singing to your favourite songs, special performances, talented DJs, and much more. Stay tuned! ๐ŸŒˆ #queer #queerpride #queerarab #queerarabs #arab #arabicmusic #toronto #torontolife #torontoparty by @shikshook.to
