5 mistakes I see local businesses making on social media 👀

Your social media doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should make it easy for people to understand what you do, where you’re based, when you’re open and what to do next.

📝No clear bio

Your bio should make it really easy for people to know what you do, where you’re based and when you’re open. If someone lands on your page, they shouldn’t have to search around for basic information like your location or opening times.

📝Inconsistent posting
-
You don’t need to post every single day, but disappearing for weeks at a time makes it harder to stay visible. Find a posting schedule that works for you and stick to it.

📝No CTA (Call to Action)
-
If you want people to book, enquire, visit your website or send you a DM, tell them! Don’t assume they’ll know what to do next.

📝Not using Reels
-
Reels are a great way to reach people who don’t already follow you. If you’re only posting photos, you could be missing out on getting your business in front of new people.

📝Poor quality photos
-
Your social media is often the first impression someone has of your business. Dark, blurry or inconsistent photos can make your business look less professional than it actually is.

You don’t need to completely overhaul your social media overnight. Start with one of these and work from there 🤍
