I used to ask God,
Why is it always me?

Why am I the one who has to forgive…
to be kind, understanding, patient, and compassionate
even when I’m the one who was hurt?

Why can’t I stay mad?
Why do I feel like I deserve to hold onto the anger…
but somehow, my heart keeps choosing love?

Most of the time, I don’t feel rage.
I feel compassion.
I feel grace.
I feel love that I didn’t even know I was capable of.

And now I’m beginning to understand
this is the purpose of loving God and loving people.
Not because it’s easy.
Not because they deserve it.
But because He first loved me.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32

This is your sign to choose love anyway.
To forgive, even when it’s hard.
To let God soften the places that pain tried to harden.

A lot of people (a lot, meaning two people) have asked how I make my high protein yogurt bowl... so here you go 😂 I usually weight my protein but my scale is nowhere to be found right now.

This bowl is sooo goood and keeps me satiated for hours.
Here is the recipe:
- High protein greek yogurt, preferably not flavoured (I usually get the Oikos plain greek yogurt)
- Protein powder of choice (always a vanilla girly)
- 1 scoop of collagen (this in itself has 10g of protein and it doesn't really taste anything)
- fruits of your choice (my hyper fixation is kiwi rn, it's sooo good and very high in fibre)
- homemade granola (crushed walnuts & almonds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds and hemp seeds. THESE ARE PACKED WITH NUTRIENTS, FIBRE, HEALTHY FATS AND PROTEIN)

This bowl has little sugar content but the sweetness really comes from the protein powder you use!

Just wanted to post this to remind myself of how blessed I am. Sometimes when we faced trials and tribulations, we forget the little things because we're so caught up in the pain and the ugly. But God is still on the throne. He is still good and He is always faithful. Sometimes I wonder, "how do you even count it all joy?" But true joy comes from within, that despite the hurt, you're still be able to lift your hand praise God.

If you're also going through it, God sees you. God hears you. It says in Psalm 56:8, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” Hang in there, OUR JOY COMES IN THE MORNING! by @shineeebrighter

It’s been almost a month since I moved back to Fort McMurray for summer break, and all I can say is THANK YOU, LORD! Our family faced unforeseen challenges this past month, but God came through for us (AS ALWAYS)! Despite relocating twice, TAMBAYAN MATCHA is booming! All glory to the Most High King!!!

I just want to come on here and thank everyone for their support, from my friends in Edmonton to everyone in Fort McMurray! May God bless you more and more as you continue to bless our business! Thank you for giving me grace and encouragement. It truly means a lot to us! We sold over 200 cups in about 3 weeks…God is so good!

With that being said, we have some exciting news for y’all TOMORROWWWWW, so stay tuned for that!
