#OFFTHECOURT ➡️ W/ Edd

This summer, Edd served as a MOST mentor for Mississippi Outreach for Scholastic Talent. There, he won MOST Hall of Fame. He also became a Well Reb Certified Peer Educator with the William Magee Center. There he does presentations and educates students about health, wellness, and safety behaviors. Edd volunteer coached for the Oxford Middle School basketball team this summer. He says “they had a successful summer and they grew as players and individuals”. Additionally, he spent the summer training kids for his basketball training page called @shinetodayhoops . Edd says “Shine Today Hoops aims to inspire individuality as well as the youth and community to never shrink but shine their light in any endeavor”.

Recently, Edd has just been accepted into the Culturally Centered Care Psychology Research lab as an undergraduate research assistant. The lab focus on culturally informed methods that promote community healing and liberation for black women and men.

We are blown away by all of Edd’s hard work! Edd is dedicated, selfless, and hardworking. He is an essential piece of the Sip Squad and is entering his 3rd year with Ole Miss Women’s Basketball! ❤️🔥 by @shinetodayhoops
