Bit of a late post but nevertheless I’m incredibly proud and honoured to have received a Gold Award at the Australian Cinematographer’s Society QLD Awards for the film “Outside”.
Words cannot explain how grateful I am because this film has a special place in my heart. From the moment I set foot in the Philippines, I knew we were creating something truly special. From the director’s vision, to the producer’s passion, to the cast’s dedication and the crew’s enthusiasm—everything aligned for an unforgettable shoot.

None of this would have been possible without such an amazing team. I deeply appreciate the collaboration with my director, @carlo.led —working with you is always a pleasure, and I hope we get to do it again soon. A shout-out to @biancaninat , my producer and one of the hardest-working people I know. Thank you for bringing me over and taking good care of me.
I’m also very grateful to @jgbcmb108 and the entire team at CMB Film Services for their support. And to my camera and lighting team— @ritchiedepadua24fps , @hyperfocal23.97 , @jcgvalencia , and @sandythegaffer —thank you for your skill and dedication.
A big thank-you also to our 1st AD, @alyyy_villanueva , for bringing such great energy to set. And to our production manager, @mommy_shashing —you’ll always be everyone’s best mama on set.
To our production design team, Joseph Edward Sicangco and @jerann_ordinario , thank you for creating such a beautiful world for me to capture.

Very honoured for “Outside” to be nominated for Best Cinematography at the Eddys (Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors) Award in The Philippines tonight.
