Everything is in season, the days feel endless, and life feels a little more effortless. That summer in Naramata. 🇨🇦🍷

Peaches and cobbler, tomatoes from the front yard, the neighbour’s deluxe treehouse, jumping off the pier, vineyards spilling down towards the lake, and drinking wine with the people who actually grow the grapes and make it.

Yes, it’s THAT resort — but this time no drama, just vibes. Between ocean views, jungle hideaways, and a rum tasting room that might have made me consider being a professional bottle slinger… this place is next level. For those who know—yes, it’s true, I’ve been calling Singapore 🇸🇬 home-base since January 2024. For those who don’t—surprise! After four incredible years in Tokyo 🇯🇵, I made the move to this unique city-state-country (yes, it’s all three).

I’ve swapped ramen alleyways for hawker centres, cherry blossoms for Vanda Miss Joaquim orchids, and izakaya nights for zi char feasts. 🌺✨

It’s been an adventure discovering a place that’s endlessly evolving, unexpectedly green, and packed with flavour. Swipe through for some of my favourite moments so far—Singapore through my lens.

First impressions of #Sydney, and I’m officially enchanted. 🌏 I’ll admit—I wasn’t drawn to the down-under, dismissing it as a sunnier version of Vancouver. How wrong I was. Sydney offers so much more.

Manly Beach welcomed me with breezy charm and a fusion of Santa Monica and Kits Beach vibes, while mornings began with flat whites at @pinapottspoint , where Sydney’s coffee culture truly shines. Afternoons unfolded in the storied laneways of The Rocks—a place steeped in history yet buzzing with modern energy—tucked beneath the Harbour Bridge and steps from @fssydney.

The culinary scene? A revelation. Highlights include a flawless meal at @margaretdoublebay by @chefneilperry, open-flamed bites at @nomad.sydney, and elevated pub classics at @thewaratahsydney. Every moment in Sydney felt like a discovery, and I’m already dreaming of a return. 🌊☀️

A spontaneous decision to explore Penang, Asia’s next great foodie city, revealed its vibrant culinary scene, a captivating fusion of Malay, Chinese, and Indian cultures. Penang is a multicultural marvel celebrated for its unique architectural and cultural townscape, with George Town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Noteworthy spots include @restaurantaujardin, a Michelin-starred restaurant known for its French-style tasting menus infused with local Malay ingredients, spices, and herbs. Once the joint capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Budapest is an intriguing city suspended between centuries — Belle Époque opulence, decades behind the Iron Curtain, and today’s newfound freedoms and vibrant entrepreneurialism. From countless thermal hot springs to impeccable Art Nouveau buildings with grand boulevards and just the right amount of grunge to sophistication, the “Paris of the East” has an ability to face challenges and carry on while honouring its past and welcoming its future.

@FSBudapest, known as the city’s grande dame of hotels, is a 1906 marvel of Secessionism — Central Europe’s take on Art Nouveau — and has undergone exceptional renovations including the additions of @muzsabar and @kollazsbudapest. If you have never heard of Prague — you should. Easily one of the most prettiest cities in Europe, the Czech Republic capital is an architectural catalogue of Gothic, Renaissance, baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. Alongside castles and casks of bubbling beer, you’ll find a rich history and fresh ideas with an evolving food and wine scene. And like the city itself, the old and new fuses at @fsprague — with a contemporary main building joined by three historic ones, Baroque, Classical, and Renaissance styles form this jewel on the Vltava River just steps away from the medieval Charles Bridge. taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @shingokido
