Oct 9 Roam x Sirens: Man Power. 25 Years of Roam @ San Francisco, CA

@manpowermusic (Me Me Me / Correspondant, UK)
@shinyobjects (Om Records)
@jasonjppeters (Roam Recordings)
@chadmitchell1274 (Roam Recordings)

Roam x Sirens presents a night in San Francisco marking twenty five years of Roam Recordings, alongside the release of the label’s anniversary compilation, 25 Years of Roam. Man Power headlines.

Man Power (Me Me Me / Correspondant, UK) is a producer and DJ from the North East of England, more than a decade deep into a career built on the trust of a scene that doesn’t hand that out easily. Labels like DFA, Rekids, and Hivern Discs put his records out because they know he doesn’t play safe, and neither does his DJing, and his recent run of collaborations with Juan Maclean under the name Juan Power only sharpens that reputation further. Every set he plays is assembled in the moment, pulled from a mind that jumps between disco, Italo, house, and techno without warning, which means what happens on the night only happens once. There’s no replaying it, no catching the same set twice. That’s the reason people who’ve followed him for years still show up early and stay to the end, and why a room that trusts him goes all in the second he steps behind the decks.

He’s joined by Shiny Objects (Om Records) and from Roam Recordings: Jason Peters and Chad Mitchell.

📍 Public Works, 161 Erie St, San Francisco, CA
🗓️ Oct 9, Friday, 9pm-2am

It’s hard to believe it’s been 2 full weeks since the conclusion of @om_getaway. I’m so happy and proud of the way it came together. Just an absolutely magical crowd and so many incredible musical moments. It was also exhausting and extremely challenging. Most people don’t realize what it truly takes to make an event like this happen and how many people work insanely long hours to make it succeed. I’m so grateful for all these new and old friends who came together to make the magic happen! @seanmajors thanks for talking me into it. I love you and curse you forever! Thank you: @robgrega for moving daily design mountains. @sofia.khabinsky 4 fabulously running coms, @gunnarhissam & @hello_jaymehissam for all your loving support and merch slaying, @tamodesignsf for doing just about everything, @wendybeatz, Adrienne & the entire @delorovalley team for putting up with us, @getthegreenqueen, @tallmaninavan, @tgalletti117, & @yucky_dude for building all the nice things and making them beautiful, @djweslight who did the job of three people dialing in production 24 hours a day, @masko80 & @derekhena for all the hard work to make entry, parking and exodus so smooth for everyone, @imjustlove for coordinating all the artist transportation and handling shit in general with class & style, @xoannascott for keeping all the artists happy and loved up, @marko_politiko for the incredible visual installation, @royalsoundandlighting, @rapture_sound, @manta_paul, @josemanuelgerman for the epic sound installs, @cash1time & @timoteo_gigante for all the extra help, @michikocraft & @omar.serang for bringing so much amazing glass art, @justinyoungart for letting me borrow your stuff, @ab_cline for the amazing bar operations and for putting up with micah, @_hopeenglish for being the most excellent pa, @ianshinefilms & @samkhedr for capturing it all, @whitelightofc for putting together the entire yoga, sound bath & wellness program, to Slavi & Erika for creating & running the spa, to the dozens of volunteers who worked their butts off, and lastly, to my fabulous loving wife @spedasaurus for putting up with me through this entire process and stepping in to save the day so many times ❤️ taken in Deloro Valley by @shinyobjects

Better late than never!!! 😇

I could not be more proud of my sweet, darling Chrissy! He absolutely crushed it at OM Getaway, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his record label—a true testament to who he is and everything he has built and accomplished over the years.

He is a legend. An icon. And, most importantly, my role model.

Thank you for decades of friendship, inspiration, and unwavering love. You are truly one of a kind—a gem of a human. You take care of all of us, lift us up, and somehow always know exactly what we need.

Well done, my love. So incredibly deserved. 💃🪩🌞💕💨🥂🫦🫶💃🪩🌞💕💨🥂🫦🫶✨✨✨

Some weekends stay with you long after they’re over.

Thank you for helping us celebrate 30 years of Om Records in such a meaningful way. Watching old friends reconnect, new friendships begin, and generations of music lovers come together was something truly special.

To every artist, musician, wellness facilitator, vendor, volunteer, crew member, and every person working behind the scenes—thank you. And a special thank you to Chris Smith and the entire Om Records family for trusting Deloro Valley to host this milestone celebration.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who danced, rested by the pool, explored the art, shared a laugh, and helped create the magic that made Om Getaway so unforgettable.

We’re still smiling as we look back through these moments, and we can’t wait to share more with you over the coming weeks.

We ran out of tags before we ran out of people to thank…
