💕A Little Brand Story Time💕 Shipyard&Co that’s Me It all started with Photography, in my small Coastal NE Town of Duxbury, I would frequent Shipyard Beach with my Children and to Photograph Families Then one day the Sign Literly Jumped out at me! Shipyard, what a perfect name for everything that drives my passion! My olde shipbuilding town, the bridge, docks, anchors, rope, sailing, the sea, travelling, mystery and romance SO VERY ME Then Weaving Became part of my Story The Colorful Nantucket because when I started my weaving story, I instantly started weaving with Color because why not? Color makes everything more fun! Then I started Teaching Nantucket Basketry in 2025 when the Nantucket Historical Association asked me to bring all my COLOR to the Island where it started! Being a Photographer by trade @shipyard_photography I have been taking photos since high school when my Dad gave me his old 35mm film camera💕🙏🏻 I still take photos of Families & Brands in my little hometown of Duxbury MA Which stared when I took over 30 family photos for the front steps project and had people donate to my local Dux businesses through gift card purchases. find me by our famous bridge The Powder Point Bridge for most of the Summer & Fall Sunsets studying to become a certified aromatherapist I make all my own soaps, oils, perfume and creams. @shipyardsoapco which I sometimes sell at markets My watercolor cards are in @frost_and_found_ in Duxbury My paintings are all local and Duxbury themed @shipyardandco Think oysters, blue fish, oyster houses, standish monument, powderpoint bridge, bug light, the gurnet, all the special places I love in my town of Duxbury. 🧺Do You Know The Story of The Penny In A Nantucket Basket?🧺 ⚓️Tradition is, the Penny designates the date the basket was woven, and usually is added by the Artist to the inside.
