The debut of my 2024 collection is entitled Anchored To Movement. Anchored to movement is a visual representation of a conceptual idea that anything that moves has an anchor. Whether it be your morals and values which anchor how you move through life and interact/behave with others. Or it’s a physical condition where you must plant yourself in order for an object to attain movement. We all have our anchor and it propels how we move. My senior collection focus was in embroidery with each look featuring a symbolic motif of rope anchoring the embroidery pieces together. The hand-made embroidery has its own flare to each piece and unique techniques to create the desired look. I would like to thank my photographer and models for doing an OUTSTANDING job at bringing my vision to life and making the process the upmost fun. To my friends and family you have been such a support and some of my biggest advisors, to that I am grateful and thankful. Here’s to your anchor and in turn your movement.
