Quite often the reward dont reflect the work. So, I’m grateful to @gregkot03 and @soundopinions for including SPECTACLES on their Best Albums of 2024 list🤘🏾🙏🏾♥️ Shout out to everyone who contributed their talent and hard work to this project. More to come! #werenumber6 #howdoesithang #itjusthangssowell by @shirletteammons

So honored to be one of the 136 artist @currincy called upon to support our neighbors in WNC via this collective album. Proud that this compliation (available only on @bandcamp ) sounds like all the beautiful people who make up our state, our world. Grayson says more about how it all came together below (he’s long-winded so he keeps on talkin in his comments😂). You’ll find the link to purchase Cardinals At The Window: A Benefit for Flood Relief in WNC with a truly impressive roster in my bio. My joint, “Corner Pocket (Small Pond Sessions)” sits comfy at track #22.

Climate change is real. Let’s love and help each other as we face a new and terrific understanding of what that means. ♥️

<<Please share this comp! Help us raise cash for WNC!!!>>

TL;DR: I worked alongside many, many good, old, and new friends to release a 136-track compilation featuring some of my, our, and your favorite bands ever. All proceeds go to our homies who need it so much right now, the people of Western North Carolina. It’s called Cardinals at the Window. It’s out this morning on Bandcamp only—$10 (or more, please).

Phish. R.E.M. Waxahatchee. Lambchop. Little Brother. The War on Drugs. Bill Orcutt. William Tyler. Tyler Childers. S.G. Goodman and Bonnie “Prince” Billy. Lonnie Holley. Geologist. Gillian & Dave. Flock of Dimes. Feist! Nathaniel Rateliff. On and on, all goodness. Support how you can. (Cover by @jamesmadisonmitchell)

A few months back, a musician I’ve known for a long time from the Triangle, Libby Rodenbough, started posting photos of a mountain road that looked mighty familiar. It happened enough times that I eventually asked: “Is that Spring Creek?” Or maybe, “Are you living at the base of Doggett Mountain?” Turns out, Libby had moved back to Madison County, less than three miles from the last place Tina and I called home until we left for South Dakota, in an old farm alongside my standby running route. Over the next few weeks, we shot the shit about local trails and swimming holes. I think I still owe her a list of my favorite spots. Sorry, Libby. (Cont’d) by @shirletteammons

A mini recap of my @farmaid 2026 experience. Thanks to all who took photos and captured moments bc I frankly stink at that. It was an honor to play Farm Aid Family Reunion with the homies, support my sis in her role as FA co-director and be surrounded by so many friends and family who know and appreciate the often unheralded and underfunded risks our farmers take on with every plant/harvest. 🩷🙏🏾🩷
