RUH ROH RAGGY

@bevscharmschool week 3: animazing

I wanted to pick a character that was completely and authentically representative of me. This look was also a nod to some of my closest friends of all time (the Scooby gang) and meant so much deeper to me than just the look. This was a look in honor of all of the people in my life who continue to push me and realize my potential and are willing to work through the chaos to get to the bottom of the mystery of cody. i am the Scooby of our gang.

this week I wanted to challenge my ability’s and push myself to create and sew something sickening, I’ve been trying to push myself to be able to play in all aspects of being a drag queen (well rounded fish) I had the brown fabric from a Scooby doo costume that I had cut apart and deconstructed into a crop top for Halloween this past year, so I took the scraps of fabric, a black curtain, and a corset base and bra and got to work. A fuck ton of hemming and cutting and sewing later I can say I’m so so proud of how this 60s, grunge, Priscilla Presley meets Scooby doo looked turned out. Super proud of myself for being able to use what I got to make something so cool, will continue to pat myself on the back in the name of adversity and willingness to want to do drag. a pretty prom dress talent does not make.

@bevscharmschool week 3: burlesque

this chicken is plucked, the post I have been dreading having to even think about writing has finally came (way earlier than I expected) season 2 of charm school was a year ago and was one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever been through in and out of drag, last year I had so much to handle in my personal/financial life and with my health that I didn’t have the privilege or opportunity’s to bring it like I saw the other girls doing, having to face scrutiny from not only your peers but the community as well was not something I was totally prepared for.

A year later, lots of new drag friends and family, and an even stronger love of drag. I wanna say right now I’m INCREDIBLY proud of everything I presented these last 3 week, I have topped myself in every way possible and thought outside of the box even if it was to my demise. the Shiron from season 2 is a whole new girl now. even though I was eliminated and heartbroken im going to take these experiences and apply them to not only my drag but my personal life as well. My advice to the next class of girls, never take criticism or advice from people who are never gonna be where you will. remember your worth, your talent, and remember yourself through it all. I’m so so so proud and amazed by what I showed, I showed the world Shiron can be pretty, funny, and cooky.

GREENED OUT

for this look I had originally planned on going a more glamorous pageant direction to show diversity within my drag (don’t worry you’ll still get to see glam shiron), after having a few conversations and getting opinions I decided to pivot last minute.. again (are we surprised) Lily, you are literally a godsend, thank you bethursting this look onto me and for encouraging me to pivot and go a different direction and helping me trust my instincts. you absolutely murdered this look, and im so so grateful beyond words that you let me be your model and show this look to the world before you. 💚💚 we gonna have to have a side by side of wore it better😏😏👹👹 (you’ll win) I’ve never felt so gorgeous and Shiron so much, this look was exactly what I needed to remind myself of what and who tf I am 💚

HORSIN AROUND

@bevscharmschool week 2: girl group

going into this week I was anxious as hell, as I said in the video I don’t normally like working in groups because I feel like there’s always some bit of conflict and because id rather just rely on myself and fail then have to fail because of others, but nonetheless this group was a breath of fresh air for me @lucyskrews and @lolveeta thank you so so much for being the best group partners anyone could ask for🩵🩵🩵, I feel like the way we worked together and were able to bring visions of ourselves into a girl group was so refreshing. I had so much fun learning and doing this choreo and after it was over I felt so so so proud of us! on to the next challenge 👹👹

@bevscharmschool week 1 : signature look

for this signature look I originally had a full different look planned but when the world has different plans and you don’t have enough rhinestones you pivot and make it work. I knew as soon as I had to pivot exactly what I wanted to wear, this look is one of the most important looks of mine and feel like it perfectly fits my aesthetic and who Shiron Da’list is. From the Red devil hair, to the details of the red tights just peaking out of the pleaser, every detail, every nail (ripped a whole actual nail off and was gushing blood), every ring , and earring fully solidified and proved who I am and what I am 100% authentically. she’s the villan and she is the drama (in my congenial era) so I wanted to capture all of that in 1 big Shiron evil smhevil CUNT look.

huge massive thanks to all of the people who got me together in some way for this runway, I felt so so so me and am proud for taking my aesthetic to places I hadn’t thought to go or take looks already known to me and take them to the next level.

so so excited to be back for bevs charm school season 3 (super senior af) can’t wait to see how I can turn this season out!

for this talent number I wanted to do something completely different than my talent last year, after taking some thought I came with the conclusion that there’s nothing more camp and me than a diss track to a Megan Thee Stallion beat #iykyk im super happy for how this turned out and that this year I was able to authentically and severely slay something so me.
