The hitmaking duo have announced their new single “Saka Mama,” arriving 22 May, featuring an all-star lineup of Yumbs, Kwesta, Masterpiece YVK, Eeque, Ch’cco and Zwayetoven.

Blending Kwaito grooves, amapiano textures and hip-hop energy, the record continues the duo’s signature approach to collaborative storytelling - bringing together artists from different sonic worlds while keeping the sound distinctly South African.

“Saka Mama,” which loosely translates to “Dance Mama,” is described as a carefree, feel-good anthem inspired by attraction, nightlife and movement. According to Shishiliza, the track was created simply for listeners to “enjoy and have a great time.”

The release also officially launches the rollout for Venom & Shishiliza’s upcoming project Love Is Pain 2, expected later this year.

Following the success of records like “Sondela” and “Flight Ya Hoseng,” the duo continue to position themselves among the architects of South Africa’s evolving crossover sound - where amapiano, Afro-pop, hip-hop and Kwaito coexist seamlessly. by @shishiliza44
