God called my Superhero home and my world feels completely shattered. Tomorrow would have been your 68th birthday and I keep asking God why? Why take my dad? Why take someone so perfect? Why couldn’t you allow me to be home so I could tell him goodbye?

You were the epitome of what a man, a father, a husband, and a brother is supposed to be. You are the man I could only ever hope and pray to become one day.

I’m so heartbroken that God took you home before I was ready to let you go. But God as my witness, I will take care of Mom and the girls for you but your little boy still needs you! I need you to keep looking down on us, keep watching over us because I know no one could ever fill the void you’ve left behind.

Today, tomorrow, and the days after will be hard. It won’t be easy to keep smiling and pushing forward but I promise I will try. I pray you never see a moment where I let you down Dad and I pray when we meet again I’m the man you’ve always dreamed I’d become!

I love you so much Daddy! by @shitrue7
