Dear LA, I have exciting news: I’m looking for music students! I finally got a piano in my own lil home in Echo Park, and I am ready to expand my roster.

My specialty is working with kids and teens. If you or someone you know is seriously thinking about lessons, I’m your gal! I have a BA in Music from UC Santa Cruz and I’ve been teaching in Los Angeles since 2017. I am also a music theory tutor in case you were searching for one.

While I am primarily looking for students to join my home studio, I also currently travel to teach. If you are interested in having me come to you, please let me know!

An education in music is so valuable for our minds and bodies, so I hope this empowers you to take the next step. I can’t wait to be a part of this journey with you or your loved one. 😊

HELLO! Hi! It’s been a whirlwind of a few days watching the power of “Sisters of Winter” spread. Thank you to @milckmusic, @rayezaragoza and @annabschulze for writing this healing battlecry. I couldn’t be more thrilled that you found me through it. Welcome to my page! 🪩

I thought I’d formally introduce myself! I’m Shivani, a singer/actor/performer and piano teacher living in LA. I’ve been singing and dancing since I was 5 years old. I got a BA in Music and moved here in 2016 from the Bay Area to pursue a creative career.

The most wonderful of circumstances happened in 2018 when I joined @milckmusic’s project for YouTube Creators for Change, called “A Little Peace.” This project changed my life. Not only did it bring my now wonderful friend @alexamarinomusic into my life, but @milckmusic helped me realize that the art I came here to make is so much bigger than me, and us. Behind the music there is purpose, cause for change, and most importantly, community.

I am so grateful to call these fiercely talented and kind women my friends, and I admire them so much. Peep the last slide of just some of the wonderful things I’ve been able to do over the years!

Here’s a little snippet of my trios first ever performance. Workshopping harmonies with these girlies is pure joy and endless laughter. As my mama always said, I ain’t always in tune but I’m always having fun (she never said that… my mom is always in tune). by @shivtacular
