Hey. I made this animation to go with the music from @northerndraw and @omarijazz 's track Appl3jax from Northerndraw's EP. It took a really long time, and I tried to bring my art style together while realizing that my life had changed completely. It seems like every day brought new changes for years and I lost myself in thinking about it and trying to be about it. I wanted to represent life and the juncture of all things including the music and the experience of hearing the music. I felt like it was simple as an idea but incredibly difficult as an act of expression. Life captivates me and I wanted to let myself go in it but the way I wanted to got in the way, basically every time. I guess I can metaphorically say that my journey towards the goal was the actual goal in that the existence of the parts inform the expression and the act of expressing. It's kinda heady but it is a good feeling when I consider it. I just want to say thank you to Kipp for being a really cool person and like Busta Rhymes to the whole entire world. Life is beautiful, whatever it is and it is FULL of sweet people. The sweet people help make life really amazing and it seems to create a cycle of sorts. Everybody has something going on and life is so weird or like really compelling. The way I feel about that is what I tried to draw for this track which has a good vibe but also has layers that change. Round and round! Peace out world. Thanks 💜💜💜💧💧💧⚡️⚡️⚡️ by @shkybration

Hi everyone! Thought I'd show off my Pandemic Ramen Chef style...but also wanted to talk about why I haven't been posting any art...the past couple years have been really weird for me. I went from being a really happy and productive person to feeling like a shade of myself and just..not happy...I won't go into the details but wanted to both acknowledge that shits been really tough, lots of job switching, uncertainty and that I'm fighting through this shit, tooth and claw, blood and tears... Mainly I haven't been posting anything because all my art energy is going into this one project. Its been a time and I really miss everyone. Now I'm working as a ramen chef at Akasaru in PDX and its really helping keep me super busy and staying inspired...feels like Ive worked harder than ever in my life 🥵 to get to this point and I'm not giving up you guys! Sooner or later yall gonna see the fruits of this project and hopefully I'll be back to posting art regularly....
Stay amazing out there y'all! All y'alls loving energy always was the catalyst that fused with my ridiculous heads space to create stuff I felt amazing making...one love and one blood...together on this glassy blue marble in endless void soup.

You guiseee I feel like a little kid I had a magical experience where I retraced my steps somewhere I thought I found a large frozen Matsutake as a wee yung Mushroom Hunter.........today I returned to try for an hour of light. A sea of cars lined the road to the spot. A flood of people; without masks. I smoked a blunt,, slipped into the woods and began my search only to find the usual suspects: trash, abandoned trailers, people, and discarded and upturned mushrooms. The place is a beautiful place near Mt. Hood...mystical and feels secret. Also next to some campgrounds...so it makes sense. After walking around until literally sunset, I was following the trees because I could see the road out. Sure enough, even though it was dark, after a million not the right but at least you're a mushroom mushrooms, when I could barely see...there it was...growing from under duff....a pale yellow white bump. It couldn't be. Wasn't gonna be my day. Sure enough. Ashy tips. There it was! As I walked back and killed the roach a couple fire works went off. I can't believe I finally found Tricholoma Murillianum! The famous Matsutake mushroom...in the dark...im not sure what to make...a few ideas. It doesn't fry in oil or butter well. Steamed with good sauce...classic Japanese trio of sauce...probably gonna make a ramen.
Happy life to you! This mushroom was a dream and a journey! I lost my damn car in an accident looking for this mushroom! I thought this mushroom was too elusive. Hard, specific. The northwest is HUGE!!!! I also thought my chances were blown this season.....Im literally speechless even though it took me years to find it...Wherever you are in life I hope you find your "Matsutake"...I learned to stick to what you think you know, learn and remember, *follow your intuition*, *HAVE FUN*, DONT GIVE UP!!!!! you literally never fucking know holy shit!!!!!

Shoyu simmered Morels Shiitake, Spinach leaves, Sesame fried Kale, Marinated Bamboo (Menma), Sliced local grown Tomatillo, Pan Toasted Thai Chili Thai-Basil Corn, 6 min egg, thin sliced green onion (negi), toasted Sesame Seeds
