One of the first songs that The Holding played together, this song “ I Will Be Back”, is very near the hearts of its members and fans. It features a full band sound with an R&B and soft rock feel. The lyrics depict the feelings associated with coming back to your roots. The realization of going too far and how long it might take to come back. The sound gives this feeling a very triumphant interpretation. The decision to make your wrongs right can take much strength and humility, this song puts that strength in the spotlight. This song is always played at the end of their shows, in efforts to manifest returning to the venue.

Who is The Holding?
Members Nathan Stade, Jason Ramirez, Sam Stade. The Holding is an indie soft rock band based in Aurora. They started jamming and making music in 2020. Their style can be described as a blend to early 2000s soft rock and 70s soul and jazz music. Introspection is the intended reaction to their music. They have hopes to make a difference in people’s personal lives with their expression. Authentic and light hearted vibes are always the intention for The Holding.

Looking to consider new acts.
Mgmt exp: 10+ yrs

If you are looking for management, understand it doesn’t mean I’m looking to work for someone. It means I’m willing to grow an upcoming artist and help them navigate in this industry & community.

Brief about me:
When I first got into marketing it was a bit after high school only because I was very into AV, production, editing. Etc.
learning marketing was bc I was around a lot strange music, funk volume, underground hip hop communities and I would actively critique efforts as a fan. But all the information I’ve gathered through the years bettered me as an artist, networker, producer. I have even gotten many opportunities from just actively networking. Working with Live Nation/Diddy, to Kanye’s Donda.

I am very proud of the accomplishments that have driven me to the artists I’m with today.

Hey guys, Flying is a song written in my senior year of high school. I was thinking in the perspective of my parents watching me grow. Putting myself in their shoes as to how they would feel about me striving for my goals. I imagine they would want to see me fly but have trouble letting me go. So, they always leave a place when things don’t go as planned. Looking at other relationships in life from this perspective can be really powerful and I have found it to open up my perspective. The calm sound of the song invites the contemplation and introspection that I find is vital when exploring relationships. The cover art features baby birds in a nest. That is the state in which our journey begins. That is who our parents may see us as while we are learning to spread our wings. Looking at one another in this way will always lead to more compassion and desire to create a place to perch.

Listen to Flying by The Holding, out now. Everywhere

That’s why I know my team will do better because we’ve proved it before. Hopefully the rest can take moments of self reflecting to consider every aspect of local art before forgetting the small guy. Do the right thing. by @shnazzynetwork

The Holding’s first single release “Flying” is a contemplative soft rock sound. It explores themes of leaving the nest to achieve your goals. The tug between wanting to see your loved ones soar but also wanting to hold them near to you. Sonically it’s very peaceful and powerful. Creating a meditative experience during the verses and then making bold statements in the chorus. One of the more earlier songs from the band showcasing the foundations of their soothing sound
