Yes, this DW-5600STT-1 is ofcourse only a gimmick. But I must confess I am a very happy with it, and it keeps intriguing me.
The main reason is the effect the watchface has.
In some lighting situations you can see the 'upside down' vines or twigs very clear. While in other situations the watch looks completely black.
I have tried to capture it in this video. by @shockedwatcher

For a special day like this #casioday, I choose a special watch: the GW-9404KJ Kākāpō.

(And yes, I know it is supposed to be 10:58pm, but I am a grownup and have my watch on 24h, so in the evening it will show 22:58. Plus: it has been a rough few days, and I expect to be in my bed tonight at 22h 😄).

I already liked the GWG-B1000, and the Emergency Colour model is my favorite. But this Tactical Colours Mudmaster is taking it to another level. by @shockedwatcher

After a week of smartwatch nonsense with my new Instinct 3 Amoled (which in the end I will mainly use at night), it is time for the real stuff. #Mudmonday with this TLC Mudmaster. by @shockedwatcher

After a week of getting to know my new Garmin Instinct 3 Amoled, it is time to return to the true meaning of an outdoor watch.
Beginning with the GW-9500MH-5JF, the newest Mudman. by @shockedwatcher

And now for something completely different.
I had some coupons to spent, in a shop with watches. Unfortunately no G-Shocks that I wanted or were nit in my collection. So I decided to upgraden my Garmin Instinct 2X Tactical, the watch that I use every night for sleep tracking.
As thectechniques in de 2 and 3 almost are the same I decided to go for an AMOLED.

Nice to dive into something different! by @shockedwatcher
