This past Sunday, members of @shoethics2023 and @lovingstone.gso came together for Kicks, Cuts & Community, meeting people where they were and bringing fresh kicks, fresh cuts, food, and community with them.

Together, we were able to provide haircuts, distribute shoes, share a meal, and create a space where people could feel welcomed, supported, and valued.

However, the most important part of the day was the connections we made. Through conversations, laughter, and simply being present, we were reminded that service is more than what we give it’s about the people we meet along the way.

Special thanks to @bippedbyluke, @kel.beijin , @blendz_bytk for coming out and donating your time and talent to serve the community. Your willingness to show up and give back helped make this event possible, and we truly appreciate y’all! ✂️❤️

This event was a reminder that when we come together, we can make an impact right here in our community. The work continues. 🫶🏽👟✂️

What began as a mission to get athletic shoes into the hands of young athletes in West Africa has grown into meeting people where they are and giving what we can.

Our community cannot be measured by how well its strongest members are doing, but by what we do when some of us are not. Therefore, it is required that we give when we can, serve when we are needed, and remember that none of us move forward alone.

This is SHOETHICS. Our work today wasn’t a grand gesture, but sometimes the biggest changes start with just a step.

MEET THE SHOETHICS BOARD!

SHOETHICS empowers communities both domestically and abroad through service and access to textiles. We mobilize students and community members to advance youth empowerment, food security, mentorship, civic engagement, and international service while building lasting partnerships that create sustainable community impact.

Meet the people helping turn that vision into action. From media and marketing to events, strategy, public relations, finances, and beyond, each member of the SHOETHICS Board of Directors plays a vital role in moving our mission forward.

Last week, members of SHOETHICS, alongside @trailblazers.intl , volunteered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Together, we worked tirelessly to sort enough food to provide 10,826 meals for communities across Georgia facing food insecurity.

A special thank you to Trailblazers International for allowing us to volunteer alongside your incredible organization. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve together and make a meaningful impact in our community.

We’re excited for many more opportunities to serve together!! by @shoethics2023

It was a such a treat to partner with @shoethics2023 while volunteering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank! Thank you @acfb for allowing us to be a part of your impactful, meaningful mission. Not only was it such a fun time, but our service helped provide around 12,000 pounds of food, which equates to around 10,000 meals for families in need!!! It is such a blessing to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Absolutely huge thank you and shoutout to all the Trailblazers x Shoe Ethics volunteers who came out and made this possible.

The game of basketball has never been won by the player who scores the most. It’s won by the team that makes each other better. That’s exactly what today was about!

Basketball was the invitation but community was the lesson. That’s why in our Steps of Change Workshop, SHOETHICS didn’t just teach the game. We built the team, too! taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @shoethics2023

To every young man who showed up ready to compete, learn, and grow at SHOETHICS’ Steps of Change Workshop: thank you for bringing the energy!!

To our D1 athlete panelists @zac2shifty , @jaidenhaynes , @blakeisheem , partner at ICAN, and everyone who helped make this day possible: thank you for pouring into the next generation!

And to everyone who donated sneakers, you also gave confidence, opportunity, and a reminder that someone cares.

It is when we build community that we build character, and once we build character we build leaders for the next generation. That is what SHOETHICS is all about!
