Goodbye, Piglet. You lived a long life of 18 years, split between my brother and I. He named you that because when you came to him, you had food anxiety and was very round, both things I was very happy to cure. I knew your time was coming soon, but I didn’t want to believe it. The end came quickly and unremorsefully, but it was probably better that way. You left us mere hours before midnight on New Years Eve, like you wanted us to cleanly start the new year without you. I am so glad I got to give you your Christmas present, even though you weren’t feeling well when you got it. I will miss everything about you sososo much. Your sweet and quiet, yet decisive disposition, your love of window watching, how much you enjoyed being around people (just no cuddling, please!), your bacon loving (cannibal!!! hehe) tendencies, and how GOOD you were!! I never had to worry about you getting into anything, you were content with whatever was presented to you. Its so quiet and lifeless in the house now, now that you arent meowing your head off, or looking to see what your favorite humans are up to. My most favorite thing about you though, was how you would start to fuss if I wasn’t home by a certain time. It made me feel so loved, especially since I was always looking forward to seeing you when I got home myself. You always let me give you forehead kisses with no consequence, even though you were normally particular about what was happening near your face. You are so loved, Pig, and we are all (especially your best friend) going to miss you so much. Rest well, and say hi to everyone else up there for me, my little pig man. 🥺😭 by @shojonoumi
