some throwback videos where I finally managed to tick off these 2 v5 proj 😭

1. Good trip, v5-honestly, might be the hardest v5 for me, move for move. The jump to A16 was the mega crux for me; things that helped- one arm pogo+ figuring out how to drop knee jump. So glad this is done. Such a burly lil’ route, 5 stars from me!!

1 more v5 to go and I still can’t do the last move of Joint Venture..really lacking the skill needed but hoping I can learn it by the end of this year 🥺

2. Cross and Lock, v5- one of the older v5s but I swear that cross to second tile+ match on h9+ setup for the low % move to F13 is just heinous. Top part is chill thankfully. No more figuring out how to pull through with the foot for the deadpoint move 🫠

3. Crossed Under, v7 by @lithium88 - so flowy!!

4. White Pocket Fence ,v6 by @powertrooperboyinred - definitely my style haha. Crossing over instead of under for the last move helps i think!

5. Bean Chilling, v5, set by me 😆- I had set this as an easy shoulder trainer for warmup last year.
Really appreciate all the love the route has been getting 🫶

6. Ice Burn, v4- ooh, very different from the usual v4s. Might be a bit hard for shorter peeps. by @shomoonboards

2024 bms:
1. Exorcism, v5- the cross move to pocket was not easy dang, otherwise a fun one!
2. Heel toe Lite, v5- the move to the big pinch d16 took a couple of attempts 😮‍💨 thought it was flashable but oh well, gotta get better
3. Boardlife, v5 by @chalk_dust_66 - fun sequence, nice use of f10 pinch
4. Letters and Numbers, v5- very much my style!
5. Talon toe, v6- chill route but I can see the high step being awks for taller people
6. The Fathers said 7A, v6- nice use of b10, maybe v5?
7. Blood Priest, v6 by @darader_boards - pinchy route, move to wooden crescent might be the crux?
8. Ariadne, v4 by @jpace_mb - unique and well set v4, fun!

same old life at the board- baby progress on projects and choke on sendable routes 🥱
But honestly, I am very lucky to be climbing with the strong peeps who always share high psyche, good micro beta and quotable nuggets of wisdom 😆 it’s a good life ngl

some of the newer 2024 bms:
1. Tango after dark, v8- pretty chill, very much my style
2. Late nights in the shack, v6- the choke on the last move waaaa 🥲
3. Caulk Block, v5/6 by @chalk_dust_66 - really solid route but the jump to g13 pinch tho
4. Think More, v6-pretty chill, fits my box well!
5. Fishers Delight, v5-nice route, was a bit apprehensive of the undercling move but not bad
6. Past Life Martyred Saints, v5- fun sequence!
7. Per Dispenser, v4- kept forgetting to video this one

Always a good time trying to keep up with the gang!! So so much to learn 🥺🥺 can’t wait for the gains to come wooohoo!!

Bad board conditions can’t stop this high psyche 😤

Some 2024 bms:
1. Shadow and Flame, v6/7; really well set route! Crux was definitely the jump to D10; also, didn’t catch g14 crimp properly so the swing was a bit violent, oh well 😬
2. Tea Break, v5/6 by @michasdojo ; committing heel, had to psyche myself to trust it but thankfully the rest of the route was decent! Real nice 👌🏼
3. Laputa, v7 by @darader_boards ; banger route! Crux was sticking the left foot on e8, that move took a while to learn. Somehow, didn’t catch the end tile properly, but thank god my shoulders managed to tank the swing 💀
4. The Hanged Man, v6/7; I like the H15 pinch to G16 pinch move, yum
5. Statue of Litterby, v5; struggled on the b14 hold match; can’t tell if it was because of the board conditions that day but decided to ultimately go with a no match beta which worked!
6. Favoured by the Gods, v5 by @bhyatt76 ; flowyyyyyy!
7. Cat Noir, v4 by @tinybenchmarks ; such a nice v4, super fun to climb!

So grateful to have friends who are always helping me out with tips and beta; y’all are awesome 🫶

Stoked to see some pinch endurance progress, especially on my nemesis mouse hold (e13) 😤

1. The Big Recycle, v7: definitely not my style but glad to have sent it, thanks to @miniprefix for telling me it’s soft 😂
2. Move or Dare, v6: now this is completely my style, nice flow!
3. Mirena, v5: really liked this one, quality piece!
4. Delta Bravo Kilo, v5: ooh erm, not sure if this is the intended beta or not, tight moves ngl
5. House of Funk, v6 by @fueled.by.icecream : really fun route!! Was a bit hesitant to hop on this one cause of the last move but ok, it went 😆

it’s been an intense few weeks but happy to have still snuck in some time to climb with friends!! Honestly, can’t ask for more, excited for more board climbing 🤤

When the v6 takes more attempts than the v8 💀

1. Bluebird, v6: finally managed to get this one done. Happy to have committed to the heel omg, mega mental crux for me + stuck feet on the high foot move which I thought was impossible to even fit at the start, small victories (pun intended) 🎉🎉
2. Titan Fall, v7 by @hoi_thc : another route that took a lot of mental convincing to load the heel and sit in for the move to i13. Very techy route, I like!!
3. Monoqlo Tokyo, v8: setting up the toe before helps a lot! Otherwise pretty straightforward
4. Cranky One, v5 by @nwedge : smooth set!

Still have a long way to go to really trust my heel hooks but stoked at the mental progress! Took me a year to send both bluebird and titan fall just cause of how scared I was of falling and injuring myself (not like that prevented me from getting injured 😂)

Onwards and upwards woo!!

1. Screwdriver, v7 by @raviolibiceps - ouchh, my wrists were not ready for this lol; beta intensive route, thank you Wilson and Josh for the tips 🥹
2. No Time Left, v5 by @ob_sends - hell yeah, mega fun pull throughs! (also congrats on the bm!)
3.Brodo Swaggins, v6- matched it ooops
4. Grizzly Bear, v6 - very interesting sequence, second move is definitely the crux
5. Short King, v5- newest bm, kinda just did what made sense to me 🤷‍♀️

it’s a constant tug of war between trying hard and nursing injuries 😂 just stoked to put down some routes, I’ll take my wins woohoo

Some 2024 mb dump:
1. Full Mental Alchemist, v5 by @jagman.climbs - nice flowy route!! Went with a weird ending beta cause of my current inability to load my left leg, sadness
2. Slow Loris, v5- err didn’t do the intended beta 🙈
3. Have Patience, v5- sent with the shittiest beta but surprised the pogo worked (will not recommend)
4. Westerlies, v5- flowy!
5. Moonboard Monks, v6- felt longgg for me hais
6. Hybrid Moments, v5 by @bhyatt76 - solid route! Always a fan of tight come-in moves
7. Goal, v5- small box route?
8. The way of the crimp, v5- beta from a while back, still a fav!
9. Moon Bruh, v4 by @darader_boards - nice intro route!
10. Shantaram, v4- some scuffed right leg beta

Left leg is still wonky but I am just so stoked to be able to climb, talk shit and eat nice food with friends 😆 good stuff fr

Some throwback tb2 videos at 40° mirror layout:
1. Dust Storm, v6- second last move felt weirdly awkward, yay to the random drop knee beta on the send attempt
2. Skyforge, v6 by @limberlimb - love love this route! Bumping for last move is so much better than a cross 😂
3. Fisticuffs, v7- the come in move was hard ngl, surprised I managed to stay on, will take the w
4. The Net is Unbreakable, v6- didn’t realise matching was allowed 😂; the undercling to the rail crimp move was ouch, I really need to train my pain tolerance
5. Tender Tension, v6- second last move was so interesting!! Got a bit confused on how to end it 😬
6. The Greenbert (flipped), v5- weirdly, found the move to the jug hard on this side, went with a pogo beta
