Artist Shon Chen will present his solo exhibition “Not Alone But Still Lonely” at ComplexCon Hong Kong. Working across toys and painting, Shon Chen transforms feelings of isolation, vulnerability, and quiet introspection into characters that feel playful on the surface yet deeply emotional underneath. His work captures the tension between innocence and loneliness — a visual language that resonates like a fairy tale written for grown-ups. At ComplexCon, Shon will invite audiences into a space where solitude and connection exist side by side.

Shon Chen from Taipei presents his solo exhibition, Self Reflection, an immersive journey into a world of solitude and fantasy. Through compelling visual storytelling, the exhibition invites you to engage in deep introspection, where each encounter with oneself becomes an adventure drifting between reality and dreams.

The story of Lucas and Nick explores themes of protection and separation, reflecting the struggles and realizations we all face as we grow. As the world of fantasy fades, can we still rediscover the version of ourselves that once existed in reality? Or are we simply searching for the fragments lost to time?

台灣藝術家 Shon Chen 帶來他的個人展覽《Self Reflection》，邀請觀眾進入一個孤獨與幻想交織的世界。透過引人入勝的視覺敘事，展覽鼓勵觀者進行深刻的內心對話，每一次與自我的相遇，都是在現實與夢境之間漂流的冒險。

Lucas 與 Nick 的故事圍繞著守護與別離，影照出我們在成長過程中所經歷的掙扎與領悟。當幻想的世界逐漸消逝，我們還能找到那個曾經存在於現實中的自己嗎？還是，我們只是不斷尋找那些被時間遺忘的碎片？
