This is my boy! There is so much to be admired about an intelligent young black boy that sincerely enjoys learning. He is constantly challenging himself to be better than his last efforts. I sometimes can’t put into words how extremely blessed I am to be his Mom. His Dad, my Husband, often speaks on how proud he is of him. He’s a great kid destined to rule the world.
End of year grades are phenomenal to say the least….

Last night I stopped at QuikTrip to let my son change his pants because he spilled something on it. He’s 11 by the way, as he was walking out of the bathroom, he went the opposite direction and kind of like checked out chips and you know just looked around the store. As he was walking toward the exit door, the security guard stopped him. I didn’t know what he said to him at first because I wasn’t in there. I couldn’t get out of my seatbelt fast enough, trying to figure out what this man was saying to my child. As I flung open the door, I asked him what is it that you’re saying to my child or what is it that you need with him? This fool says they said he was trying to steal a soda. Now most of y’all know me know that I don’t cuss, but I replied what the hell do you need with my child? After he said that “they” said he stole the soda I replied he ain’t still no damn soda that’s a child. The security guard repeated that “they” said he stole something, so of course now I’m pissed off and I’m all out of character and beside myself. Then this nappy headed, bad skin, stank breath, security guard proceeds to raise his voice, trying to intimidate me repeating the same thing over and over again. So I walk out to go get my phone cause I want everybody’s name, I come back in and I ask again and he’s like now “they” didn’t say nothing. I’m the one said it, I’m like oh now nobody else said it and “they”standing around looking stupid , but that type of behavior coming from a black security guard onto a young black boy because the white fat boy( a customer told me) the fat white boy at the counter told him to go get him cause he think he stole a soda. And his 🥷 went and did just like massa said. When I tell you I was so thoroughly offended by how they mistreated my child an 11-year-old innocent boy who hadn’t yet needed to experience the oppression that these businesses trying to lay down on young black boys because they assume everybody steals. I know that I cannot shield my child from everything but here’s his picture. I am definitely calling corporate and y’all be careful going to QT at 4937 Sunset Road.#quiktrip by @shontaesashay
