Beyond excited to announce that 2 of my images were featured in the first issue of heartful magazine!

Heartful is digital magazine that highlights family photographers and their imagery. The art featured is not your typical family portraits. They are images that tell a story and that go beyond just being beautiful.

I feel so honored to be listed amongst all of the other insanely talented artists and some that I have been admiring for years!

I love photographing mothers with their babies because so much of their love goes unseen.

Because one day they’ll wonder if they were ever in the frame…

Back in October 2023, I saw a for lease sign out in front of a building that is on the same street I grew up on! Countless times of driving by and I had never been in.

First step into what is now my now studio space, I just knew it was right. The dappled light pouring in, hot pink crepe Myrtle tops dancing in my window, the place just had good vibes from the get go.

Today, I can proudly say I’ve poured in literal blood sweat and tears to create a cozy playful space for my people!!

Hostessing is my love language so it only makes sense for my business to reflect the same hospitality! So excited to host my upcoming clients. See you there 🤍 by @shoot.with.sarah

I’ve found that I thrive most as a photographer when I’m surrounded by a team of passionate, like minded individuals who share a common creative vision. Collaborating in that kind of environment allows each person to bring their unique strengths to the table, which not only elevates the final product but also creates an energy that fuels inspiration.

When I’m on a solid team, I get to really focus on what I do best, creating strong imagery and telling visual stories. Knowing that everyone is playing their part lets me stay in my creative zone.

✨Why is it that so many people give up on their dreams? I think, the reason is lack of persistence.

Success doesn’t come overnight. It has taken years of persistence and dedication to get to where I am! It’s still such a journey filled with a lotttt of challenges, several setbacks, and of course moments of doubt. But I’ve pushed through the tough times, remain dedicated and resilient, and now I’m starting to see my vision come to life✨
