New bike day, a Orbea Alma M50. It’s not home yet because I’m not a fan of the look of the standard brake rotors. They didn’t have any in stock so they ordered the ones I want. The first test at the range after I adjusted both the ejector spring and the magazine well and it went perfectly, the action cycles smoothly and seamlessly throughout the entire movement of the bolt and the bullets enter the chamber without any problems now. I also re-lubricated the bolt assembly using Flunatec products, which seem to be working exceptionally well. @tikkafirearms @grsriflestocks taken in Mörrum by @shooting_at_msg

Finally some shooting again🙂Didn’t use my best performing ammunition today, used my Lapua Center-X, of course good quality ammunition but this batch doesn’t fit my barrel. The first real test with my HW35 E .22. Considering I hadn’t shot it since last June and now with my modified Rowan Engineering trigger with a much much lighter pull weight it went pretty well. I’m trying to motivate myself to use my HW 35E, which I bought last May but haven’t shot since last June. So, I gave it a cleaning with isopropanol followed by a ceramic coating using Flunatec Gun Coating, it’s both a good idea and fun to take care of your stuff. Next time, the rifle has to come along to the shooting range!!! I haven’t even fired it since I installed my ridiculous expensive (Thanks Brexit) Rowan Engineering extra setback trigger 🤨#weihrauchairrifles #springairrifle #flunatec taken in Sweden by @shooting_at_msg

I adjusted the magazine well forward by 0.25 mm as soon as I got home and now the magazines click in properly without any force needed and the rounds feed smoothly, so now it’s works perfectly again. #mehappy taken in Sweden by @shooting_at_msg

Fun day with some new people and my rifle almost worked perfectly now after the ejector spring was adjusted. The feeding works great now, but the magazines needed a bit of extra force to get them to lock. So a little adjustment on the magazine well was needed.

Paid a visit to the local gun shop today for 1,000 extra rounds of SK Biathlon Sport. You have to take the opportunity when they have them in stock. I already have quite a lot, so I just got two extra boxes. And some isopropanol from another store, as I had planned a thorough cleaning and ceramic coating of the entire rifle with Flunatec Gun Coating. And I just had to test so I loaded all four 5 shot magazines, the ones that gave me the most problems and tested and after I adjusted the tension on the ejector spring it works better than it ever has 😁#tikkafirearms #skammunition #adjustingspringforce #worksfine #mehappy taken in Sweden by @shooting_at_msg

I think I found the problem why the rounds suddenly wouldn’t chamber correctly. It worked last Saturday, but now it was impossible to load. I Googled it and found that the extractor spring tension can cause issues and needs adjustment, so I adjusted it. I didn’t dare do a full test with complete slide cycling at home in the kitchen😉I might lose my cool and accidentally pull the trigger or something😁But I fed a round just so it entered into the chamber and then ejected it, and it seems to be working now. I’ll have to test it thoroughly at the range next time. My only theory is that the Boreblitz snake did catch the spring and pulled it out some after last Saturday shooting, I mean it worked fine then not and that was the only thing I did!! I hope it was just that and it works fine now. #problemsolved taken in Sweden by @shooting_at_msg
