Old tech vs. Modern night vision.

Night vision has come a LONG way.

What once meant grainy images, limited detail and struggling to identify what you were looking at is now a completely different game.

Modern night vision delivers incredible clarity, contrast and situational awareness — turning darkness into an environment you can actually see and operate in.

The technology has evolved. The capability has evolved. Have you seen what current-generation NV can really do?

Cover isn’t just something to hide behind — it’s a skill that needs to be trained.

Using cover drills in your pistol training adds another layer of complexity to your shooting. It challenges you to work on movement, positioning, target engagement, presentation, accuracy and decision-making while managing the constraints of working around cover.

For competitive shooters, these skills can translate directly into better stage performance — especially when stages require movement, shooting positions and unconventional angles.

For law enforcement and defensive applications, training around cover helps develop the ability to use your environment effectively while maintaining control of your firearm and engaging targets efficiently.

At KTS, we don't just teach you how to shoot — we help you build the skills to shoot better under realistic pressure.

Whether you're chasing faster stage times, improving your fundamentals or developing practical skills for your role, KTS can help take your pistol training to the next level.

Train with purpose. Train to perform.

A couple months, countless dry fire/vr sessions, multiple matches, thousands of 9mm rounds and multiple training courses.

The Peregrine Battle Belt from @patch.outt is still the best Australian built pistol belt we've used!

This spinner target seems to stump people.

But we once again proved the value of an almost stock Glock to get the job done.

I love the feel of a good 2011 and am a Staccato fan boy but the old Glock keeps getting it done.

Speed up where you can!

Slow down where you need to!

Slowed this run down at a couple points ended up increasing my overall score and decreasing my overall time.

The RIX Stride ST6 is the current helmet mounted thermal optic we are using.

100% would love a set of Fusion or SWIR but while we're not on that ADF money.

@l3harristech we are open if you want to help us out

Great cheap thermal system here in Australia

Keep any eye on this!

**MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH MONTH is nearly over**

Doesn't have to stop because the month is over!

Sometimes the biggest step forward is simply finding a place where you belong.

A shooting club isn’t just about targets and trigger control — it’s about community, discipline, focus, and connecting with people who share a passion.

For many men, having a regular place to show up, challenge yourself, talk, laugh, and build friendships can make a huge difference.

You don’t have to carry everything alone.
Get outside. Learn a skill. Join a community.

Check in on your mates. Start the conversation. 🤝
