The nap: thousands of tiny raised fibers that create its soft texture and change the way it reflects light.

👀 Here’s what most people don’t know: suede is leather. It’s made from the underside of animal skin, where the surface is softer and more fibrous.

Those fibers give suede its signature look and feel ... but they also make it more sensitive to dirt, moisture, and friction.
