Today is the last day to enjoy our Studio Tour!! 12-5! Go🩵
The annual artist studio tour is Evanston Made’s founding event, started in 2014 with a group of volunteers, the studio tour is designed to bring visibility to artists with a studio practice in Evanston.
Today, you are invited to make time to visit artists in their studios across Evanston, to learn about their art-making process, thank them for making the world a more beautiful and interesting place to live in and maybe start your Evanston Art Collection.

13 years ago Evanston Made started a little studio tour to find local artists and celebrate their creativity. Fast forward and we’ve grown a lot, pivoted, evolved, added events and members and a space of our very own and YES, we are still hosting that Studio Tour, Oct. 3&4, 12-5p. We’re celebrating artists and rewarding their talent and creativity with our eyes and ears and hearts, sending them collectors and fans. Come be a part of that celebration- 26 stops, 45 artists, all across town. We have a map for you…we have a list, all the scoop, plus a full weekend of art fun with First Saturday in full swing on October 3rd. So block off the whole weekend for art!

Join interior designers Candace Griffin of Candance Mary Interiors, Ona Villier of Ona Villier Design, and Tracy Gallun of Bespoke Projects, for a lively conversation about what goes on inside a designer’s mind. Facilitated by designer Maggie Peng of Pink & Tan, the panel will explore how they develop a point of view, follow an instinct, work through constraints, and decide when to break the rules.

Meet furniture designer Len Koroski of Design Explorations for a conversation and demonstration. Ceramic artist and product designer Martha Beckman and painter Meghan Borah will join designer Nick Puglisi of Design Museum Chicago for a conversation about the creative process. Taking place inside Pink & Tan, where the work of both artists is currently on view, the discussion will explore how intuition, experimentation, materials, research, and happy accidents shape creative work.

The Natural Circularity of Vintage
Giving good design a second life

Join Claire Cahan and Schuyler Smith, founders of newly launched vintage furniture shop Furniture Picnic, Armen Minasian of Minasian Rug Company, and interior designer Isabel Schultz. Drawing on their backgrounds in architecture, interior design, making, and the reuse of vintage rugs, the conversation will explore vintage interiors, thoughtful reuse, and the enduring value of well-designed pieces. by @shop_evanstonmade

I recently created a custom order for a customer that visited the Evanston Made store at 822 Dempster. I am so grateful for how @evanston_made connected us. She saw a book I created, but there was only one so EM put her in contact with me. Upon further investigation of my items on the @shop_evanstonmade site she saw the journals I create using old maps and asked if I could create 2 unique but similar books. Here’s how they turned out.
