Hey Diva’s! Today I wanted to post about why I donate $1 to charity per every sale I make through Hot Mess. I have donated to a few different places so far, including Down syndrome Indiana and various GoFundMe pages, but by far the place I donate to most often is the Middle Way House. The Middle Way House is a domestic abuse shelter that has helped thousands of women and survivors over the past 50 years. I choose to donate to Middle Way House because although my small business isn’t exclusively for women, I am constantly inspired and supported by the women in my life to continue creating for you all. Hot Mess celebrates femininity and self expression which are two things I have the privilege of experiencing. Not all women have the privilege of expressing themselves in that way. If I can do anything to support steps toward a better future for someone in need, even if that’s just $1, I’m going to do it. I encourage you all to as well! Call your local women’s shelter and ask if they’re accepting donations. You never know if someone could really need that pair of shoes that you never wear!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported today! It truly means the world to me. It’s been a huge dream of mine for years now to start a small business and I’m so grateful I was able to finally make it happen. HOT MESS is 1 year old!! I brought her to her first market on October 5th last year 💞 Starting my small business has been so hard and so so so rewarding. I am so grateful for all of the support I’ve gotten this past year and seeing people use my hand made items makes my heart so happy. 2025!!! The year HOT MESS was born ✨💖💋 I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for the opportunities that came with this past year. Thank you to everyone who supported me in any way possible, you have no idea how grateful I am. Hot Mess is officially BACK this Sunday at BYOB!!
