The Cool G Cardi pattern is ✨LIVE✨

When I tell you I poured my heart and soul into this cutie, I truly mean it. Never did I think I'd be able to design my own crochet wearable, let alone RELEASE IT INTO THE WORLD for others to have the joy of making for themselves. I know my grandma would be so proud and give me the biggest hug today if she were still here.

I'm so grateful for everyone's enthusiasm and words of encouragement on this cardigan, and I cannot wait to see what magic y'all create with it.💖

💖Meet the maker💖
Hey hey! It's a new year, and I'm so happy you're here!
I'm Alexa-- the face behind Dear Hart, and I wanted to introduce myself to anyone who's new around here.

I love the Lord, I'm a wife to the best, and a mama to four. I'm a millennial through and through. I use way too many emojis, and I'm SURE the 90's was only a decade ago.😆 I've been crocheting for long enough to forget how many years it's been and have only become more addicted to yarn the longer I pursue this grandma hobby. I also love playing with color and inspiring others to do so. Aaaaand that's basically the 411 around here.🤗💖

One of my goals for Dear Hart in 2026 is to actually release some of the patterns I design, instead of teasing them and then ghosting you guys.🙈😬 (There may or may not be a major hint in this photo of what's coming from me first.🤭)

I've got so many exciting things in the works and can't wait to continue sharing with y'all in the days, weeks, and months to come. Thank you for being here. I'm grateful for each and every one of you!🫶🏼

Remember when I teased this cutie almost two weeks ago and then haven't shared her again since? It's because I was trying to finish up a few prior crochet commitments.😅

I'm happy to report that I only have one other pressing thing on my hook which means I'm closer to getting a tester call out for Pepper the Poodle! It's still happening this month. I promise!🐩💖

I participated in @commonknots.official featuring @shopmodthreads and was able to make the perfect (for me) throw blanket for Autumn.

I was going for a girly, moody, Halloween look and am so in love with how it turned out. The Wynona Bloom blanket pattern will forever be a favorite of mine.💖

ILTY Burnt Pumpkin
ILTY Purple
Premier Basix Orchid
Premier Basix Lilac

There's just something special about making a sweater while the seasons are changing.💖

I participated in the Cardi-thon hosted by @melissa_made_that for the month of September and am super proud of what I accomplished. A giant duster Cool G for me and a tiny baby Chloe for my daughter. (Her sleeves are completed I just haven't gotten around to taking more photos yet.)

Aaaaaaand just because Autumn has arrived, doesn't mean we're toning down the colors over here.😏🌈✨

Everyone say hi to Pepper!💖

She's a sassy little poodle who's all about the dopamine dressing and color maxing.🌈✨

This design has been in the works for two years, so it feels immensely good to be able to finally show her off to the world.

I've just started typing up the pattern, so be on the lookout for a tester call... soonish?

The Bloomfolk pattern is now available!✨

I had such a fun time testing these cuties for @threadsinbloomco She's such a yarn wizard when it comes to making all things teeny and tiny.

This pattern comes with multiple accessories and the color possibilities are endless. AND it works up so quickly that I can promise you won't be making just one. Go show Britt some love and grab the pattern!💖

I don't have the capacity right now to make any ground breaking content, so here's a color palette of a current project I'm working on.

Happy Saturday, friends!💖
