This part of my story honestly feels like a dream to me. 💭📖 I started Gift Muse just shy of four years ago with a very rough business plan, a lot of determination, and a little bit of delusion. It has not been easy and at every bump and turn in the road I have nurtured this little dream of mine to grown into more and more of a reality. It feels surreal to finally officially announce something that I have hoped and dreamed of accomplishing since the start of my business. My very first official Rebrand 🥂🥂 (finally kissing homemade logos goodbye😘😘)!! My gorgeous new brand was created by the immensely and phenomenally talented Riley of @goodmooddesignco and it is more than I truly could ever ask for. Riley was incredible and helped me create a brand that represents not only my ethos for the heart of my business but is also a little bit of myself. Gift giving is a celebration of life and way to show appreciation for those around you. For me gifts represent a way to build relationships and say things when words cannot. To show your love and care for those who matter most to you in a tangible, thoughtful, and beautiful way. I am so blessed to be able to continue to serve my clients and help facilitate joy in their relationships!! As I open this new beautiful chapter of the business I just want to say ✨✨ thank you so much✨✨ for being a part of my story and for supporting a delusional, scrappy, and determined gal by helping her make her dreams come true. Let’s make one thing clear, just because you can doesn’t mean you should....... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sure, DIY-ing may seem like an easier less costly option at first glance but there are many cases when hiring a professional can save you money, time, and above all peace of mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why is that exactly? Simply more often than not it pays to make your problem someone else’s (especially someone who has experience in doing what you want to do) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When it comes to gifting there are truly a myriad of questions that need to be answered for example: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🤔 Does what you’re giving tell the right story? 🤔 How do you source quality items? 🤔 How do you package things to withstand UPS and USPS driver’s rage? (love them but they tend to be rough on stuff) 🤔Do you want to take up an entire room in your house with supplies for yet another project you may or may not complete? 🤔What happens when and if you order the incorrect size and or quantity of something? Happy One Year Anniversary to the love of my life, my other half @tckilburn. This year has been one of the busiest and most amazing years of our lives. On the top list of things I’ll never be over? 📝 Event design that is just as unique and as fun and the people behind the scenes! Thinking outside of the box when it comes to design gives your event some secret sauce in my opinion When @whitney.thegatheringco came to me and said she wanted to do a fun 90s inspired shoot and juxtapose bold bright colors with sophistication and style my wheels immediately started to turn What came of that conversation was pure magic! 🤍 not to mention we truly had one ABSOLUTE DREAM of a vendor team for this one. Ladies tysmm for being a sheer LIGHT to work with. 2022 a year of bold risks and rewards! This year has been absolutely one of the wildest and best years of my life. 🍾 I got married to the love of my life (more on that to come) 🍾quit my 9-5 to jump into the ocean of entrepreneurship 🍾 got so many amazing new gifting clients 🍾 did my first handful of weddings for paper goods and signage 🍾 really really realized that I actually have a business 😂😅🤣 (no thanks to imposter syndrome) There’s no knowing what lies ahead but whatever it is I’m here to embrace it with open arms. Brb just daydreaming about our limited edition zodiac candle collab with @ck.creations 💭💭✨✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We had so much fun during this shoot and curating these candles. Each zodiac sign had its own signature scent, wooden wick and flower petals sprinkled on the top. It's time for our first ever client spotlight 🎉🎉🎉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My business revolves around curating intentional gifts and going above for my clients. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is so much that goes on in this process and because of this it can be quite hard to bring you all along in all the fun. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As an effort to draw back the curtain I am going to be doing a series showcasing a glimpse of the curation process ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That brings me to one of the most recent client gifting projects I did for @thegatheringco and I am OBSESSED ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I think of the Gathering Co I think of intentional, beautiful, and modern weddings and events. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To me, this design was all about making things minimal, beautiful, modern and very fun!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I hope you enjoy a glimpse of this project!!
