October is Eczema Awareness Month, and we wanted to share a little of the story behind GOO WORLD.

What followed was one of the hardest seasons our family has ever walked through.
It covered almost his entire body and affected his growth and development.
We were told he might struggle with severe eczema for much of his life.

Creams. Steroids. Probiotics. Diet changes. Even biologic injections.

Synthetic fabrics. His mattress. Car seat. Bedding. Stuffed animals. Detergents + soaps. Cotton became our safe place.

We covered our sofa in cotton quilts.
We replaced his bedding, clothes, mattress, car seat and stuffed animals.

Something we had been praying for started happening.
His skin was improving, and he was more comfortable.
And little by little, we began healing him from the inside out.

In our darkest days, when we couldn’t see the road ahead, Jesus gave us the strength and wisdom to keep going and faithfully guided us towards our boy’s healing.

What if we could make children’s clothing that were the kind of clothes we wanted for our own kid? Classic, cool, and comfortable. Made without compromising on the things that matter to us.
And that’s where Goo World began.

Whether a child has eczema or not.
We believe every child deserves clothing made with materials we feel good about.

And this is our boy today.
His journey with eczema continues, but so does ours.
