I have been on this journey for quite some time now and have made a lot of changes. One of those is trying to shop more sustainably and finding pieces that have stories to tell and a little more life to carry on my own. I was told I had to visit @shopnbgoods in Nashville around a year ago and when I finally made it in I was blown away. From the wall of vintage hats to the rows and rows of organized vintage clothing and beyond I felt right at home. I knew I wanted to make something there and here we are. Camille, the owner, so graciously let me come out and tell a little bit of the story.

This is a series I am starting where I go sit down with people and businesses in the community and bring you all a little glimpse into their story.

We’ve gotten to do a lot of fun things with the @titans over the last few years but this takes the cake! I am incredibly grateful to @titansinthecommunity and the entire organization for choosing us as a 2026 One Community 1st & Goal grant recipient and their overall commitment to supporting small business here in Nashville. With the city’s current growth, we’ve seen so many local businesses getting squeezed out. @shopnbgoods has been all bootstrap from the very beginning. Without deep pockets it can sometimes feel impossible to contend with private equity, chains, rising rents, parking and even a natural disaster. Meaningful & tangible support like this are integral to keeping our small businesses community alive. And while we’ve got some good mojo going, maybe this is our year?!
