POSHFEST DAY 2 💞

Overwhelmed with the amount of gratitude and appreciation from this experience

thank you @poshmark for this opportunity and for trusting me with my curation and vision for your first IRL secondhand shopping experience 💎

I started the idea of Rae & Coco while in business school in efforts to keep items out of the landfill. @shopraeandcoco was born from the idea to rescue men’s suits and vintage clothing that were discarded because of holes and stains - then redesign into modern mid-luxury items for women. With zero waste, using the scraps for furry style icons 🐾

The first plan was to create a small collection, curate vintage and designer items to accessorize, then sell at a market. Literally built and manifested this, and I’m so blessed 🫶🏼

Everyone keeps asking if it was a success - but how you identify success is different for each individual. For me, after the hardest year of my life dealing with a concussion and neck injury - being present, being seen, and showing up was enough for me. The sales and community experience made it even better 💞✨

A huge thank you to my amazing MOM! She was such an pivotal role in getting this off the ground and I couldn’t be more appreciative of her support ✨

Magic happens when you allow yourself to be seen as your most unapologetic self and I’m so proud of this weekend 💞

Also SO HAPPY my little muse @little_coco_chanel was able to make it, loved showing her the booth because she was truly the star!
