Hi sweet friends 🐚
If you’re new here (or it’s just been a while), I wanted to reintroduce myself!

I’m Macey — the heart behind Sandy Souls. I’m a Midwest girl who completely fell in love with the ocean, and somehow turned that love into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

This all started on a family trip to the Gulf coast of Florida. One morning, I found the prettiest little shell in the sand — it looked just like a butterfly. After that, we couldn’t stop finding them… and we left the beach with handfuls of what we started calling “butterfly shells.”

I took them home, cleaned them up, and couldn’t stop thinking about how special they were. That tiny moment turned into a hobby… then a side hustle… and now, somehow, this has been my full-time business for 3 years 🥹

It will never not feel like the biggest blessing.

Everything I create is inspired by the beauty of the ocean and the little details we so easily overlook. I truly believe those small things are some of the most meaningful — each piece is meant to be a reminder of that.

And more than anything, I’m just so grateful you’re here. Whether you’ve been supporting since day one or just found this page, it means the world to me.

And just like that, September is coming to an end 🥹

We wanted to take one last moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Thyroid Cancer Awareness fundraiser this month. Whether you purchased a butterfly piece, shared our posts, told a friend, or simply helped us spread awareness — every single bit of support mattered.

A huge thank you to Rose & Lily for helping bring these special butterfly pieces to life, and to everyone who chose to make one part of their own story.

This may be the end of Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, but the mission to support those affected by thyroid cancer continues. Thank you for being part of this little piece of something so meaningful to us!

roll the summer film 🎞️🦋☀️

A little throwback to sunny summer days with some sweet friends🩷 We did this butterfly photoshoot with so much excitement for September and everything we had planned for Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, so I’ve been holding on to these photos since then just waiting for the right time to share them!

Now that September is here, it feels extra special to finally roll the film and share a little behind-the-scenes glimpse of the girls who helped bring this project to life.

So grateful for these sweet souls, summer memories, and the little butterflies that brought us all together 🦋
