We’ve had quite the last week 😅 Well, quite the last month actually. It all started with a 69 year old pipe bursting and flooding the entire front portion of our lot. Was followed up by several other emergencies and has ended (hopefully) here. We know things are crazy for everyone right now but, if you could, here’s some ways to support: shop in person or online! We ship just about everything (plants included), and offer local pick and delivery as well! Make sure to grab a drink from @kaleido.coffee on your way in ❤️ The holidays are coming up and we TRULY have something for EVERYONE on your list!
Book a workshop with us! Hit the link in our bio to view all our fun upcoming workshops. More to be posted soon! 😭
Book a private event or corporate event with us. Email rita@shoptansy.com and Rita will be happy to get you booked! We have an array of crafts and themes available. From kids parties to baby showers to weddings to 100 person corporate events, we’ve done it all!
We are located on Magnolia Blvd which is FULL of fun and funky shops!!! It’s seriously the street of unique finds from incredible vintage to seriously spooky… you can find everything here! Next time you come to Tansy, don’t just stop with us! We have maps at the register for free that have the other amazing local and small businesses listed so you can spend all day exploring.
.
The last few years have been tough on EVERYONE, and that means your local favorite spots are having a tough time too. Right now, we have to lean on one another and really rally for the place and spaces we love. Every dollar counts. Shop local. Shop small. ❤️

Pilates, perfume AND plants?! LADIESSSS, this is how we’re doing girls day out in New Jersey!

@jersey.girlie and @hausofflo.studios brought the girls together @thepillarsnwk in Newark for an afternoon of self-care, creativity and GOOD VIBES!

We made custom perfumes @pookalita , got our mat Pilates on @healhaus and created the cutest little terrariums @shoptansynj . And between the DJ, dancing, cocktails and mocktails, a TIME was had!

I love seeing events like this bring women together to try something new, meet new people and just have FUN. And now I just need to figure out how to keep my little plant alive! 😂

Thank you Jersey Girly and Haus of Flo for having me!

Ladies, send this to your homegirl who NEEDS to get out of the house and follow @ambi_liciouss, @jersey.girlie and @hausofflo.studios for more fun events in Jersey!

Pilates, perfume-making AND a party?! 👀💕 Who said wellness couldn’t be FUN?!

The girls in New Jersey are doing things differently, and I’m here for it! ✨

@jersey.girlie and @hausofflo.studios brought Pilates & Party to Newark, NJ, and it was the ultimate girls’ day experience!

We created custom fragrances with Pooka, enjoyed an incredible Pilates session with Heal Haus, and made terrariums with Tansy. Plus, the food, drinks, DJ, and dancing made the entire experience even better! 💃🏾

I love finding unique experiences that bring women together, especially right here in NJ!

Wait… Newark has way more going on than you think 👀📍

I joined @investnewark and Mayor Ras Baraka to explore six Black-owned businesses across Downtown Newark, from self-care and wellness to cocktails, body care, plants, home goods and an elevated dinner spot.

Featured stops:
✨ Aulo Spa — facials, massages, nails, lashes, waxing + wellness memberships @aulospa

🍸 Newark Culture Club — craft cocktails, Black-owned beer + wine, live music, comedy + DJs @newarkcultureclub

🧴 Pooka Pure & Simple — soaps, body oils, fragrances + a create-your-own fragrance bar @pookalita

🪴 Tansy — plants, art, décor + home goods @shoptansynj

🧘🏾‍♀️ HealHaus — inclusive wellness experiences centered around healing + community @healhaus

🍽️ Legacy27 — elevated dining + cocktails, and yes… the food was SO good @legacy27nj

If you’re looking for things to do in Newark, NJ, new date-night spots, self-care experiences, restaurants or Black-owned businesses to support, save this list for later.

Which stop are you checking out first? 👀
