At Shoreline Connecticut, we believe in savoring these moments – the rustle of fallen leaves, the scent of woodsmoke, and the simple pleasure of good company.

This fall, we’re stirring up a classic with a seasonal twist: the Apple Cider Sidecar. It’s a sophisticated sipper that perfectly captures the spirit of our charming Shoreline, blending the robust warmth of apple brandy with the crisp sweetness of local cider and a hint of maple.

Imagine enjoying this on a cozy evening by the fire, or as the sun sets over a tranquil harbor.

Here’s how to craft your own taste of autumn:

The Shoreline Apple Cider Sidecar

Ingredients:
• 4 tbsp apple brandy
• 2 tbsp apple cider
• 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• ½ tbsp pure maple syrup
• Apple slice for garnish

Instructions:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

2. Add the apple brandy, apple cider, fresh lemon juice, and pure maple syrup to the shaker.

3. Shake well until thoroughly chilled, about 15-20 seconds.

4. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.

5. Garnish with a thin slice of apple.
