A little Sunday evening mask 🤍

I mixed Dr. Alkaitis Organic Universal Mask with a little Raeso Golden Nectar Mānuka Honey Enzyme Cleanser and a scoop of Coconut Cult yogurt. The mask is full of oats, greens, and other plant ingredients to help soothe and nourish the skin. Raeso adds mānuka honey and fruit enzymes for a little gentle exfoliation, while the coconut yogurt makes everything creamy and helps the mask stay moist.

I give it a spritz as it sits so it never dries down completely. My skin feels so soft afterward. by @short_for_lizard_

Let’s talk about your skin’s microbiome—and one of my favorite ways to support it. ✨

SIV Biome-Balancing Serum is a spore-based formula created to support the skin’s natural ecosystem. A balanced microbiome helps maintain a healthy barrier, retain moisture and keep the skin feeling calm and resilient. When that balance is disrupted, we may see more redness, sensitivity, dryness or breakouts.

A few ways to apply SIV:

• Shake the bottle vigorously first
• Apply 1–3 drops directly onto clean, dry or slightly damp skin and gently press it in
• Warm it between your hands before massaging and pressing it evenly over the face
• If your skin doesn’t tolerate oils well, use it only on the areas that need extra support

Use once daily after cleansing or toning and before your moisturizer and SPF. And those little particles you may see in the bottle? Completely normal—they’re part of the formula. 🤍 by @short_for_lizard_

My post-travel depuffing routine ✨
A few simple things I do to wake up my face, encourage lymphatic drainage and feel a little more like myself after flying or long hours in the car.

Gentle pressure, hydration, a little Blue Cocoon, jasmine mist and powder SPF 🤍

Save this for your next trip. by @short_for_lizard_

One of my favorite finds from Palm Springs. ✨ I stumbled across this vintage Givenchy necklace at Bon Vivant, and it immediately came home with me. I love collecting pieces that have a story, and this one is a little piece of fashion history from the late ‘70s/early ‘80s. The signature 4G motif—Givenchy’s iconic house emblem—makes it instantly recognizable, while the bold sculptural design is exactly what made the brand’s vintage jewelry so collectible. There’s something really special about giving a beautiful piece like this a whole new chapter. 🤍

Inflammation can show up in many ways, from redness and sensitivity to breakouts and a compromised skin barrier.

In our latest edition of From the Treatment Room, CL esthetician Lizzy Boyle shares her approach to calming inflammation, including the products she reaches for most often, simple daily habits that support healthier skin, and an anti-inflammatory recipe she loves.

There’s something about this time of year that invites a reset… not just energetically, but through the skin.

This ritual begins with a gentle gommage exfoliation — a technique rooted in the idea of erasing. As the product softly pills, it binds to dead skin cells, lifting away what is no longer needed without disrupting the barrier. No stripping. No harshness. Just a quiet release.

From there, we layer in hydration and renewal — replenishing the skin so it can move forward stronger, clearer, and more receptive. We finish with a clinical relief balm, rich in arnica, kava, castor, and St. John’s wort — designed to ease discomfort, promote relaxation, and support the lymphatic system so the benefits continue well beyond the treatment room.

I had a client come in on her birthday, and it felt especially meaningful — this idea of shedding the past year, releasing what the skin has been holding, and stepping into something new.

Spring skin is not about doing more.
It’s about letting go.

Morning after Frax 1940 + Hyperdilute Radiesse ✨

Woke up feeling pretty good overall.

Skin is definitely red, sensitive, and feels like a bad sunburn, with some swelling (especially around the eyes and ears). Surprisingly no bruising, which I’m honestly shocked about because I bruise very easily.

Last night the CO₂ mask really helped take the sting out. I slept with my head elevated, and this morning started my valacyclovir + doxycycline to prevent cold sores and post-treatment breakouts.

Keeping everything very simple today:
• gentle lymphatic around the eye area
• lots of soothing + hydration
• SPF (reapplying all day)
• hat for extra protection
• no makeup

Healing mode today.

2 hours post Frax 1940 + Hyperdilute Radiesse with Charlie NP.

A little heat, a little redness — exactly what we want.

The Frax 1940 is a non-ablative laser that helps target pigment, refine pores, stimulate collagen, and treat precancerous lesions.
The Hyperdilute Radiesse acts as a biostimulator — think fertilizer for your skin — helping to gradually thicken and strengthen the dermis over time.

My approach with treatments like this is always the same:
support healing, protect the barrier, and keep it simple.

My go-to post-treatment routine right now:
• Gentle cleanser
• Barrier-supporting hydrator
• Lipid-rich moisturizer
• SPF (non-negotiable)

Let the skin do what it’s designed to do — heal and rebuild. taken in Natural Beauty Fifth Avenue by @short_for_lizard_

Treatment day with Charlie ✨

Today I’m doing the Frax 1940 non-ablative laser along with Hyperdilute Radiesse with Charlie NP.

The Frax 1940 laser targets:
• pigment
• pores
• fine lines + wrinkles
• precancerous lesions
• collagen stimulation

The Hyperdilute Radiesse is a biostimulator. Think of it like fertilizer for your skin — helping stimulate collagen and gradually thicken the skin over time. I love this treatment because it helps with skin tightening and prevention of laxity without changing the natural shape of the face.

To prep for the treatment, I’ll also be taking:
• Valacyclovir 500mg twice a day for 3 days (to prevent cold sores)
• Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 5 days (to help prevent post-treatment breakouts)

Current skin prep routine:
• Gentle cleanser
• Hydrating serum
• Barrier supporting moisturizer
• SPF (always)

I’ll share updates on healing, results, and what the downtime is like over the next few days. taken in Natural Beauty Fifth Avenue by @short_for_lizard_
