2024 was unforgettable. So many life achievements and competitive milestones I hit this year: I got to travel around the world some and explore with my wife and friends. I got to compete in the birth place of the sport I love. I got to coach my teammates at some of the biggest tournaments of the year while competing myself and experiencing some nice long periods of high intensity stress.I took my first run at the @ibjjf Grand Slam for Nogi:🥇Brazilian Nationals/Brasileiro 🇧🇷🥇European Championship 🇮🇹🥈Pan Championship 🇺🇲🥉World Championship 🇺🇸Not only did I compete but I managed to medal or win at every one, which is still crazy to me. I'm so grateful for this experience and this will always be one of the greatest years of my life. I'm eternally grateful to everyone who supported me this year and helped make this possible. Nogi Worlds 2025 Recap: Losing sucks. The losses never get easier to take. The work, the sacrifices, blood, sweat, tears, blah blah blah. So why do I smile? Because I'm still competing at the highest levels. I'm still putting in the work, even as I get older. I'm still getting better and striving to be the best. This journey is filled with ups and downs. So enjoy all the moments along the way 🙂Forever thankful for the support of my family. My wife who takes care of my little baby boi while I leave the state to wrestle other men.
