POSTS STORIES REELS

She wore her locs like a hanging garden,
each one a dark petal reaching toward tomorrow.
Butterflies lingered around her,
confused by where the flowers ended
and the woman began.
The sunflowers leaned when she passed—not from the wind, but curiosity.
Honeybees hummed low praises in her direction.
She was bloom and root, nectar and midnight,
the kind of Black woman
that makes gardens feel underdressed.
