Hey! My name is Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam. I am very proud to say I am the one behind the lens here at Shot By Sam! I wanted to introduce myself for those who don’t know me, and tell you a little about myself 🫶🏼

Photography started as a hobby for me back in 2015, but quickly became a huge part of my life. When little me realized something I enjoyed could help achieve my biggest dream (owning my own horse), I was all in! Over the years I truly began to love photography, and by taking photos, in addition to my other jobs, I was able to save up enough money to complete my goal..

For my 16th birthday in 2017, I gave myself the greatest gift ever.. An off the track thoroughbred who I would soon name Lenox. Lenox has grown my love for the sport in so many ways, he is my heart horse continues to bring me happiness year after year.

These past couple of years my career as a photographer has blossomed. With so much help & support from my family, friends, and my first OP boss, Sarah (SEL Photography), Shot By Sam is a newly established business that I am proud to stand behind! I am so thankful to all my clients, and I can’t wait to see where this business takes me! 📸✨🤍

Last thing, some random facts about me!

🐴| I have another thoroughbred named Maverick, he is the most perfect baby in the world and I am so so lucky to have him.

🐶| I have a dog named Maggie who I used to compete with in Agility, I would love to find time to do it again some day

🐍| I also own 5 snakes, Taystee, Drako, Playboy, Aramis, and Abacus. I also have a chicken named Stella

🎶| My all time favorite song is Pool House by The Backseat Lovers

🎮| I also enjoy playing video games when I am able to find time, my go-to’s are Red Dead Redemption 2, Ark, or Wizards 101 (yes, you can laugh) by @shotbysam.e
