Moments fade, Film remembers ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐ŸŽž๏ธ

Kicking off the frames from my LA trip with Cinestill 800t. Ngl, it captured the night mood of DTLA perfectly. ๐ŸŒƒ ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #cinestill800t @cinestillfilm ๐Ÿ“ธ: #leicam6 by @shotitblind
My favorite shots from New York over the past two years, will be back very soon! ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: Mix of Kodak and Cinestill ๐Ÿ“ธ: #contaxg1 #leicam6 #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
Some frames shot in LA on the Mamiya 7II. Totally get the hype around the 67 format now ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #ektar100 @kodak ๐Ÿ“ธ: #mamiya7ii #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
Chicago Marathon Week ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Been waiting a whole year for this week! Shot 4 full rolls of film in just 3 hours. The pure passion and excitement from the runners and the crowd practically burst through the frame. What made it truly special was how incredibly welcoming everyone was to the camera, almost every single person I captured was smiling, waving, or cheering Street photography heaven right here ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #kodakultramax400 #kodakgold200 @kodak ๐Ÿ“ธ: #leicam6 #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
Experimenting with different film stocks lately. Just tried a roll of the newly packaged Harman Phoenix 125. It still has that familiar vibe, those red halations in the highlights and that raw, gritty grain. Shooting it at ISO 125 definitely works a lot better than 200. Still such a unique and characterful film. ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #harmanphoenix125 @harmanphoto ๐Ÿ“ธ: #leicam6 by @shotitblind
Zach Deng is a film photographer based in Chicago. He enjoys the hands-on nature of analogue cameras, from winding the film to working with mechanical controls, and likes that the process makes him slow down before taking a picture. Rather than thinking only about the final photograph, Zach pays attention to what happens while heโ€™s making it. Film has taught him to be more deliberate with light and timing, and to accept the wait between shooting and seeing the results. He also values the particular look that comes from developing film, and sees each roll as a chance to learn something new. For Zach, photography is as much about the experience of taking pictures as it is about having a record of the moments he wants to remember. Capturing some casual moments at the Rose Bowl Flea Market with Kodak ColorPlus 200 (aka Kodacolor 200). Compared to Kodak Gold 200, which sits at the same price point, this film gives you a vintage look with punchier contrast. While itโ€™s not quite as fine-grained as Gold 200, it definitely packs more of that raw, nostalgic film aesthetic, whereas Gold 200 leans a bit more creamy and smooth. Which one are you team? Gold 200 or ColorPlus 200? ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #kodakcolor200 @kodak ๐Ÿ“ธ: #minoltatc1 #madewithkodak Classic AJ1 really stands out. Who can say no to sheriff woody? Nothing special, but I do love the vintage car in burgundy coat, and the shadows. The corner that I found the beauty. Vibrant mink on a half-tarped vintage ride... who gets the vision? Another Woody. Dope. Dope, what else can I say. This lovely guy is so willing to be photographed, thanks! Another corner in Pasadena that really stands out. by @shotitblind
โ€œI take pictures on Hollywood Boulevard.โ€ A quick shoutout to my favorite photo maker - @eatenbyflowers (Jeremy Paige) ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #cinestill800t @cinestillfilm ๐Ÿ“ธ: #leicam6 by @shotitblind
LA afternoon vibes on Kodak Vision3 250D. The Remjet layer gives it that distinct halation compared to the AHU version, which brings a more dreamy look in my opinion. Which look do you guys like more? ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: Kodak Vision3 5207 ๐Ÿ“ธ: #minoltatc1 #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
The film stock Iโ€™ve been constantly shooting with recently is 5207 AHU, largely drawn to it by the striking cinematic texture of the film, The Odyssey How do you feel about 5207 and 5219 versus regular retail Kodak films? ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: Kodak Vision3 5207 AHU ๐Ÿ“ธ: #minoltatc1 #leicam6 #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
How should I put Santa Monica Pier into words? Iโ€™ve been here so many times, but Iโ€™ve never once brought it to life through my lens. Itโ€™s just one of those places that completely grabs you the moment you walk up. We all know LA always has gorgeous sunsets, but when the sun starts sinking right over the pier... it just hits different. You look at it and go, This is it. This is L.A. ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #ektacolorpro400 @kodak ๐Ÿ“ธ: #leicam6 #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
Same place, different film. Which vibe do you prefer? ๐ŸŽž๏ธ: #cinestill800t @cinestillfilm | #ektacolorpro800 @kodak ๐Ÿ“ธ: #contaxg1 #madewithkodak by @shotitblind
