Dinner at LouCas Italian Restaurant in Edison
We started with the Fried Calamari, crispy and served with marinara, along with the Hot Antipasto for Two — shrimp scampi, stuffed mushrooms, mussels, clams, eggplant rollatini and shoe-string zucchini. She also had the French Onion Soup.

For dinner, I went with the Pappardelle Bolognese, featuring beef, veal and pork ragu finished with mascarpone cheese.
We also shared the Chicken Parmigiana — a lightly breaded chicken cutlet topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella, served with linguini.

And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We shared the Tiramisu, made with espresso soaked ladyfingers, imported mascarpone mousse and cocoa powder, along with the New York Cheesecake. Both were a perfect way to finish the night.

The one area that could have been better was the service. While we enjoyed the food and had a nice dinner overall, the service didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. There’s definitely room for improvement in that department, and better service would have made the evening even more enjoyable.

Had a great night at Knife & Fork Inn!

She went with the 12 oz Filet Mignon, while I went all in with the 18 oz Bone-In Cowboy Steak. Both steaks were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. We also both had their creamy mashed potatos.

As always, our server Tim was fantastic! He always takes great care of us and makes the experience even better.

And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We shared a delicious chocolate cake to finish off a great night.

One of our favorite Italian restaurants.

We started with the Baked Clams Oreganata oven baked clams on the half shell with seasoned Italian breadcrumbs and Romano cheese.

Then we had to get what might be the best meatballs I’ve ever had Grandma’s Pan-Fried Meatball, a huge veal, beef & pork meatball topped with warm ricotta.

We also couldn’t pass up their Handmade Warm Burrata-Style Fresh Mozzarella, made fresh right at the table. Such a cool experience and even better to eat.

For dinner, I went with the Chicken Parmigiana Bolognese à la Vodka Fra Diavolo — spicy breaded chicken parmigiana topped with spicy bolognese, melted mozzarella, definitely a must order.

She went with Grandma’s Fresh Gnocchi, which was absolutely delicious.

Of course, we had to finish with dessert and shared their Italian Ricotta Cheesecake.

Whenever we’re at the Borgata, we always have to make a stop at Noodles for lunch.

We shared the General Tso’s Chicken and Beef & Broccoli, and started things off with the Szechuan Spicy Beef Skewer with chili and Szechuan peppercorn.

I was happy… until I walked in.

We went to Famous Dave’s BBQ for dinner and all went with the Pick 3 Combo.

I went with Texas Beef Brisket, Burnt Ends, and Roasted Chicken, along with Dave’s Cheesy Mac & Cheese, Garlic Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes, and a Cornbread Muffin.

She went with Texas Beef Brisket, Burnt Ends, and Roasted Chicken, with Dave’s Famous Fries and a Cornbread Muffin.

And Jimi went with Southside Rib Tips, Beef Brisket, and Roasted Chicken, plus Dave’s Cheesy Mac & Cheese, Garlic Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes, and a Cornbread Muffin.
