Four years ago, I picked up a camera for the first time, not knowing it would completely change the way I see the world.

It started in Bosnia, during the Srebrenica memorial run. That trip opened my eyes to traveling, meeting new people, and seeing how powerful stories can be.

Back in the Netherlands, things slowly started to grow. I began working with artists, football players, brands, and weddings, meeting new people and learning something from every shoot. What once felt small slowly became something real.

At the same time, photography took me further to places like Togo, Colombia, and the Maluku Islands.

In Colombia, Camila showed me what real love and gratitude look like. In Togo, the kids made every return feel like coming home. And in the Malukus, traveling with friends to support our people gave me moments I’ll never forget.

Every place, every person, and every shoot shaped the way I see things.
For me, photography isn’t just taking pictures. It’s a feeling. A moment. A story.

This was my third trip to Togo with Nowruz to Stichting De Thuishaven. What started a few years ago as a simple photography journey turned into something much bigger: a feeling of family, purpose, and connection.

The memories we created, the people we met, and the children who became part of our lives will stay with me forever.

This tattoo is a reminder of that journey. This one is for all the children in Togo. ❤️

We have arrived at @stichtingdethuishaven with a beautiful and diverse group. ❤️

On the shirt, you can see twelve flags representing the backgrounds of our group: Moroccan, Afghan, Dutch, Chadian, Nigerian, Togolese, Egyptian, Surinamese, Pakistani, Hindustani, Vietnamese and Congolese.

Een kleine bijdrage, een groot verschil

In februari vertrek ik, samen met @scnowruz en @makeakidhappy naar Medellín om iets te doen waar ik echt in geloof: jonge talenten ondersteunen en kansen creëren via sport.

Dit project lukt ons niet alleen. We hebben jullie hulp nodig om het verschil te maken voor Camila en het vrouwenvoetbalteam in de wijk.
