This coyote was not shy at all!

I was at Point Reyes National Seashore. He walked straight down the side of the road towards me - completely unbothered by my presence.

I think this might be my favorite photo from the whole trip!

Would your heart have been racing a little?

I was at a park when a little kid came up and asked what I was looking at.

“I’m not sure… some kind of blue dragonfly thing?” 😂

He took one look and immediately corrected me: “Oh, a damselfly!"

Thanks to that little kid at the park for teaching me something new! 😂

I've been loving these yellow fall-blooming flowers. I never really noticed them until this year! They sure do attract the bees! 🐝 💛

I always get excited to practice different photography techniques! The location of this Egret and the background were perfect for a little high-key action! 🤍

Finally managed to get a macro shot of a jumping spider! Walking along the boardwalk at a park, I barely even noticed it. But once you get close, it's amazing how much detail and personality is there! 🕷🕸

Finally made it out to Huntley Meadows in search of the famous blue-green tree frog. No luck, but I did see quite a few green ones!

Still working on getting the hang of this macro stuff! 🐝 It's so cool when you finally get one in focus and get to see all the tiny details you would never see otherwise!
