133. True love? Or disenchantment?

Throughout nearly entire span of my 14 years in tattooing Kreider has trusted me more projects than anyone else. Looking at his arms, torso and now his back is like tracking at a timeline of our changing.
I first poached this concept from a 2020 story post by Brandon Farruga. Not sure where he or the original source are now but it’s been imposed on my brain ever since.
In 2018 I began saving my favorite tattoo of the year to post on NYE. Can’t imagine posting this one on any other day. Thank you endlessly @kreiderdane

Also thank you to everyone who got tattooed this year or who simply engaged with the things I post here in a positive way. Hoping 2026 is everything you want it to be🖤

FLOOD/VAMPIRE

I have gone back+forth with what I would write here for a while. The usual simple thank you or something more thoughtful. I think fear or pride often make me over share+explain and that’s what my fingers seem to naturally want to record here. I wanted to make a **skate video** that would live somewhere outside of that typical ugly and monotonous little box and hopefully feel more personal-intimate-intentional. I put more effort into this over the last year(+) than any tattoo that I’ve ever made. Which is confusing given that is why most of you are here reading this. And with a similar feeling to sharing tattoos- I am both sure that most people will hate it and hopeful that even one person finds some value in its honestly and care. So I hope that it resonates with you.
I also want to express my gratitude for everyone who has inspired+helped me over the process. Especially Jackie+Will+John. Especially Night Cafe by Van Gogh. And Especially all of my friends who battled for a trick and let me stand on something in the back of their clip. LONGINLY.
