Today, I celebrate 54 years of life, love, growth, wisdom, and countless blessings! 🙏🏾💜💛

As I reflect on my journey, I’m grateful to God for every door He has opened, every obstacle He has helped me overcome, every lesson that has made me stronger, and every person who has been a part of my story. My journey hasn’t always been easy, but every experience has helped shape the man I am today.

At 54, I’m walking in purpose, standing in my truth, embracing my blessings, and looking forward to everything God has in store for me. I’m proud of the life I’ve lived, the lives I’ve touched, the relationships I’ve built, and the legacy I continue to create.

This new chapter is about peace, purpose, prosperity, good health, genuine love, and living life to the fullest! I’m not counting the years; I’m celebrating the experiences, the growth, and the opportunity to keep becoming a better version of myself.

To everyone who has been part of my journey, thank you for the love, prayers, support, and unforgettable memories. The best is yet to come!

35 YEARS OF BROTHERHOOD, SERVICE, AND OMEGA PRIDE 💜💛⚡

October 11, 1991 – October 11, 2026

Today, I proudly celebrate 35 years of membership in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., having begun this lifelong journey on October 11, 1991, through the YE Chapter at Jackson State University.

Thirty-five years ago, I embraced more than a fraternity. I embraced a bond of brotherhood, a commitment to service, a tradition of achievement, and a lifelong responsibility to uphold the principles and ideals of Omega Psi Phi. What began as a defining chapter of my college years has become a legacy that continues to shape my character, strengthen my purpose, and deepen my appreciation for the bonds of brotherhood.

Through the years, I have witnessed the power of friendship, the importance of loyalty, the value of perseverance, and the enduring strength of our beloved fraternity. The friendships formed, the lessons learned, the memories shared, and the brothers encountered along this journey have all contributed to a legacy that I will forever cherish.

I am grateful to the brothers of YE Chapter at Jackson State University who were part of the beginning of this journey, as well as every brother who has crossed my path throughout these 35 years. Each has contributed something meaningful to my Omega experience.

As I reflect on this milestone, I do so with humility, gratitude, and immense pride. Thirty-five years later, the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift remain as meaningful today as they were when I first became a member of this illustrious fraternity.

I am proud of where my journey began, thankful for the brothers who have walked beside me, and honored to remain a part of this great brotherhood.

Thirty-five years in Omega. A lifetime of brotherhood. A legacy of service. Forever committed to the Purple and Gold.

With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I give thanks for 35 years of service, brotherhood, friendship, and achievement in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

It is an incredible honor to celebrate this milestone at the 85th Grand Conclave in Cincinnati, Ohio. For 35 years, Omega has been more than a fraternity—it has been a bond that has shaped my life, strengthened my purpose, and connected me with brothers across generations.

I am grateful for every brother, every lesson, every challenge, every triumph, and every opportunity to serve. I proudly celebrate 35 years in the Bond and look forward to continuing to uphold the principles and legacy of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

From the moment she entered this world, she filled my heart with a love, pride, and purpose that words cannot fully express. Watching her grow, learn, and become the amazing person she is today has been one of my life’s greatest joys. She inspires me to be a better man, a better role model, and a better father every day. Today I remember and honor the life, service, and sacrifice of Areanah Preston on her birthday, June 7, 1998 🙏🏾

I give thanks for her courage, dedication, and commitment to protecting others. As a servant of her community, she answered a calling that required strength, compassion, and selflessness. Today, we honor the life, courage, and sacrifice of Areanah Preston — a young officer whose dedication to service embodied the very best of the Chicago Police Department.

On May 6, 2023, Officer Preston’s life was tragically taken in an act of senseless violence, just hours after completing her shift protecting the people of Chicago. Though her time in uniform was far too short, her impact was profound. She served with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to her community. She represented hope, strength, and the future of policing.

Officer Preston was more than a badge and a uniform. She was a daughter, a friend, a mentor, and a source of inspiration to many. Her determination to serve others, her bright spirit, and her unwavering courage will never be forgotten.

As we remember Officer Areanah Preston, we also remember the tremendous sacrifices made every day by law enforcement officers and their families. Her legacy lives on through the officers who continue to answer the call to serve with honor, integrity, and courage.

May we never forget her name, her service, or her sacrifice.

Today we honor the brave men and women of the Chicago Police Department who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the people of Chicago. Their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.

They answered the call without hesitation, standing the line between danger and safety, often placing the lives of others before their own. Behind every badge was a son, daughter, mother, father, friend, and partner whose loss is deeply felt by family, fellow officers, and the entire community.

We remember their sacrifice not only in moments of silence, but in the continued commitment to serve with honor, integrity, and strength. Their legacy lives on through every officer who continues the watch and through every life they touched while serving this city.

May we always honor our fallen heroes, remember their sacrifice, and keep their families in our prayers.
