I first stumbled into this hidden gem of a tortillería in 2004. Even though so much has changed in 18 years, delicious stacks of tortillas are still waiting down this hall.
🥹💕✨ Made a little solo Sunday Brunch but still making portions for me and boo 😿. That’s it @ashley.ruth.rises, grab the pups and change your flight to the next one here!!! Who’s idea was this Solo Coding Beach Camp anyways??? 🤦🏽‍♂️
Please hurry up and get here 🥹💓🙏🏽
.
On a separate note: I’ve always dreamed of cracking an egg open with one hand! #NailedIt

One Month-A-Versary to the most glorious day of my life!!!✨❤️✨ When I build a time machine I’m gonna go back and relive Summer Solstice 2019 aboard the Destiny at least for a million infinity loops....the incredible ceremony by The Reverend @saramccaslin, all of the tears and laughter inspired by toasts from @sarahshotland @ladhagold, @krissisuzanne, and Holly... the unforgettable Secret Dance Choreo from @hollyballz, THE DANCERS!! Who did not come to play but came to SLAY!
Friends and Family that travelled form places near and far, with the “far” award going to the epic surprise by our beloved Aussie Mr. @pwdoherty!
And all of the love that everyone manifested together. I got another year’s worth of gratitude shout outs coming y’all! (Also it’s real dumb that I can’t tag more than 20 people). I love you @ashleyschor!! #DashWeddingDay #QueerLove #GayMarried 📸: @ashleypaigephoto @officercline taken in Lake Washington by @showmetiger

We escaped this timeline for a few days of magic and imagination, kickin it with Tinkerbell and BB-8, and rolling laughter and screams. You’re my favorite, @ashley.ruth_ 💫💗✨💗✨💫!!! #WishesDoComeTrue #DisneyWorld taken in Disney World by @showmetiger

Bodhi Bear Appreciation Post! Our gorgeous boy is an elder gentleman but is still with us thanks to our diligent care and magic of modern medicine. We haven’t been able to take him to the lake since this day in March 😢 but this was a good day. I’ll always remember swimming in the lake, looking up and seeing him surrounded by people adoring him with the biggest smile on his face. He’s got that je ne sais quoi 🩵❤️ Love my little Bear. 🐻 by @showmetiger

It’s been a full month of family emergencies and connections, old friends passing too young, 25 yr reunions, music shows, turning 45, tattoos, and last minute west coast work adventures. And that’s not to say anything of the wild timeline we’ve found ourselves on.

But no high nor low can compare to our first born child, Bodhi Bellagio, Dr. Dr. Dr. B, Dobbie Bear getting sick.
He had the equivalent of a heart attack on my birthday, and gave us the saddest scare of them all. @ashley.ruth_ woke up and saved us from a terrible grief. 🙏🏽💎And we’re lucky to get more time with him — not as long as I’d like but at least more time to take him to the beach again and to cuddle him and take a million more photos of him and to ground into the slow process of letting our best friend go as gracefully and lovingly as we can with the time that we’ve been gifted.

I might as well change this account name to ShowMeBodhi because I need to start sharing this gorgeous goofball with y’all. He’s so loving with his little Bro Sam and his cat babies, Archie and Lionel Richie. He’s the sweetest boy with the most adorable ear hair. I won’t be able to make it to your party, I’ll be hugging this handsome in slow motion.

“Why is the measure of love loss?” We’ve hit a profoundly empty void with the loss of our dearest Michelle. What an honor it’s been to laugh, spin yarn, regale in the most wondrous tales of resiliency, wit, and wisdom throughout these years— always too short. Michelle was one of the first people I’ve met along this journey who had experienced many of the traumas and pain I had— and proof that the pure spark of the spirit, joy, persistence, self-discovery, and creativity could truly overcome those early beginnings. She was unabashedly herself in every space— a triple Leo, a rascal — fun, quick, hilarious, generous, wild, regal, and so damn intelligent. SO. DAMN. WISE. It’s difficult to believe that reality will one day hit and do what it does— carry our loved ones and heroes off to new frequencies. But damn if I didn’t believe Michelle would outlive us all. A Jungian Analyst. A Reverend in the Episcopal church, an artist, a teacher, and friend. A powerhouse. Until we meet again.
