This supercharged ’01 Cobra came into the shop smoking, and the owner was told one of the cylinders is low on compression. 👀

Before jumping to conclusions, we’re going to diagnose it ourselves, verify the compression issue, and figure out exactly what’s causing the smoke. Could be a few different things… stay tuned to see what we find and what it’ll take to get this Cobra healthy again. 🔧🐍💨 by @showroom.performance

Clutch install day! “
Top 3 things we recommend during every clutch install:
Replace the pilot bearing and throwout bearing while everything is apart.
2 Apply the proper grease to the transmission input shaft for smooth clutch engagement and long-term reliability.
3 Inspect the rear main seal for any signs of leakage. It’s much easier to replace now than after everything is back together.
A clutch job is the perfect time to take care of the small details that can prevent major headaches later. Do it once, do it right.

Fixed up this C6 Corvette after the infamous LS2 harmonic balancer failure 👨‍🔧🔥

One of the most common issues on LS2 cars is the factory harmonic balancer separating or “walking out” over time. The rubber in the balancer can deteriorate from heat, age, and high RPM, causing wobbling, belt issues, squeaking, vibrations, or even potential crank damage if ignored too long.

Got this one taken care of and back on the road the right way ✅

If your Corvette, GTO, Trailblazer SS, or LS-powered vehicle is starting to make weird noises from the front of the engine or throwing belts, don’t ignore it.
